1.Check your Microsoft Surface Tablets charging requirements
2. Check your USB-C PD Power Supplys output and voltage: output =15V output can be used .
18W, 24W and 29W WILL NOT WORK. If your USB-C charger came with your phone or iPad, IT WILL NOT WORK.
3. As a reference, check your original charger's power output. If your original Surface charger is 36W or 44W, then you will need a 45W PD power source.
using a charger with less than 45W PD output may limit performance
4. Power Delivery (PD) is required for the USB-C power supply. Not all USB C charger work with this cable. Some charger outputs 18W (for phone), it charges very slow and some model will shutdown due to overcurrent protect design.
