SFP+ Transceiver Module
Is this compatible with my Cisco / Ubiquiti / Netgear switch?
Confirmed Compatible: Cisco, Ubiquiti Unifi, Netgear, Fortinet, D-Link, TP-Link, Linksys, Edge-core, Intel, EMC, Meraki, FS, Norkia, QTC, Broadcom, Supermicro, and Most Open Switches.
What type of fiber cable do I need for this transceiver?
Use OM1, OM2, OM3 or OM4 multimode fiber with LC-LC duplex cables. Supports up to 300m on OM3, 500m on OM4, 80m on OM2, 30m on OM1. Do not use single-mode (OS2/OS1) or older OM1 cables.
Does this support DDM monitoring?
Yes. Supports Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time temperature, voltage, TX/RX power.
Can I use this with Cat6 or Ethernet cables?
No. This is an optical transceiver—it only works with fiber optic cables (LC duplex). For copper connections, consider an SFP+ to RJ45 adapter instead. You can search ASIN: B0FLKHXQ3D
Can I connect two switches in different building with this?
Yes. Ideal for connecting switches within a building up to 300m apart—use OM3/OM4 multimode fiber and ensure proper cable routing and protection.
