This device is a cost-effective, miniature (3G/HD/SD)-SDI 1 to 16 Multi-Viewer and 16 to 1 input multiplexer, offering unparalleled flexibility and convenience.

The DMON-16S allows for custom layouts, with a variety of standard layouts available to suit your needs. Each of the 16 windows comes with a 16-character UMD overlay, with individual enables, custom positioning, and size adjustments. This ensures that each window can be tailored to your specific requirements.

Audio is a key component of any viewing experience, and the DMON-16S doesn't disappoint. It features an 8-channel audio metering overlay per window, with individual enables, custom positioning, and size adjustments. This ensures that your audio is always perfectly balanced and in sync with your visuals.

The device also includes Safe Action and Safe Title overlays per window, with individual enables and adjustments. This, coupled with the Centre Cross overlay per window with individual enable, ensures that your visuals are always perfectly framed and in focus.

The DMON-16S also features a unique Audio ID overlay and tally system. Tallies can be applied to either Tally Boxes (Default), Outside Safe Action Area, or Border, with up to 4 Tallies per window. This makes it easy to keep track of your inputs and outputs at a glance.

Switching between inputs is a breeze with the DMON-16S, thanks to its fast switching capability and Full-Screen scaling. The device also offers a selectable output format in both Full-Screen and Multi-Viewer mode, ensuring that your output always matches your input.

The DMON-16S also features low latency buffering for each input, allowing for non-synchronous inputs. This, combined with its linked (3G/HD/SD)-SDI and HDMI outputs, and 16 x (3G/HD/SD)-SDI inputs with auto detection (supporting 26 formats in total), ensures that your visuals are always crisp and clear, regardless of the source.

Each window on the DMON-16S is independent of the others, allowing any 3G/HD/SD format of any frame rate to be displayed simultaneously. This, along with variable aspect ratios per window, ensures that your visuals are always perfectly tailored to your needs.

The DMON-16S also features a Pass-Through mode, where the selected input is passed through to both the (3G/HD/SD)-SDI and HDMI outputs. This ensures that your visuals are always perfectly matched, regardless of the source.

The DMON-16S is a truly portable converter, incorporating Decimator's new easy-to-use LCD and button control system. This gives you easy access to most of the amazing features without using complicated LED/button control, dip switches, or having to carry around a computer to change a simple setting.

The device also features 32 GPI on a 37-pin D-SUB for Tallies and Remote Switching, RS422/485 on a 37-pin D-SUB for Dynamic UMD and Tallies using TSL protocol, and a USB port for control and firmware updates. All of this is housed in a robust aluminium box, with a metal thread locking DC power socket, ensuring that your DMON-16S is always safe and secure.
