I am using it for a SSD in an aluminum enclosure. Does it go on TOP of the circuit side with the soldering and stuff, or on the underside where it is flat and smooth? It seemed to get really hot on top (circuit side) when I tried it without any thermal pad. Also, is it removable if I want to use the SSD in a different application later?
