Measurement of Body Temperature:

1) Make sure the thermometer is under body mode. Keep distance at 2 to 3 inches from thermometer probe to the middle of forehead.

2) Press measurement button, then it sounds a "beep" to indicate measurement is finished and value will be displayed. If measurement value exceeds alarm value), it sounds "beep. beep beep" as a indication.

After measurement, if the thermometer is idle for 30 seconds, it will display "OFF" and a "beep" and shuts off automatically.
