How does a wireless light switch work?
The receiver is wired between power and light. The switch sends an RF signal and can be placed anywhere. Add more remotes or receivers as needed.
What does the antenna do and how should I use it?
The antenna boosts RF signal range. Extend it fully to improve reception, especially when installed near metal boxes or obstructions.
What if there's no neutral wire in the box?
The receiver needs a neutral wire. If none is in the box, install it behind a non-metal lighting fixture. You may find a neutral at the back of the box—check carefully.
We also offer a no neutral wire model.
What battery does the switch use and how long does it last?
The switch uses a CR2032 battery. Battery life depends on usage but typically lasts several months to over a year.
Can I use multiple sets? What if the signal is weak?
Yes. Each kit uses dynamic codes to prevent interference. Re-pairing is easy—only cancel pre-programming once. Metal barriers can shorten signal range, so adjust placement or replace the battery if needed.
