Do you have to have a user account with the manufacture for remote control or can I access the interface directly through the internet like my router's embedded user interface?

Thru Emerson account only. If Emerson has a system issue, you cannot remotely change thermostat settings. Thermostat continues to work fine as set. Minor inconvenience.

Question 2

how is the indoor humidity displayed?

Accepted Answer

Displayed on thermostat face as a numerical value, such as "62%". In the thermostat settings you can turn on or off the humidity display. If you use the sensi smartphone app, percentage humidity is displayed on your phone.

Question 3

Can you password restrict the settings from being tampered with from both remote and direct physical access?

Accepted Answer

The only "remote" I am aware of is the Sensi app on your phone, which is password protected. I am unaware of any password option on the device itself.

Question 5

Does this work with baseboard heat from a gas furnace? I believe our current thermostat, a Luxpro 500, was installed because it works with baseboard heat as well as central AC.

Can this thermostat be used with Google Home?

Yes, I have it working with both Alexa and Google home. Google home seems to be a bit more demanding in the vocabulary you use to change temps and such. Alexa seems to understand different word pairings better than Goggle home. Example. I can tell "Alexa, turn the AC down 2 degrees" and it happens. If I say that to Google, it doesnt understand. Google I must use the thermostat name (Thermostat) and say  "Hey Google, turn the Thermostat down 2 degrees."

Under the Specifications tab, under the Dimensions and Weight it list neither the dimensions or weight. I don't care that much about the weight, but WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS? Inches, millimeters, furlongs.....something!

The mounting plate is about 5 inches wide (maybe 4 15/16, and 3 inches tall
The face measures 6 inches wide by 3 3/4 tall

Question 10

What am I'm doing wrong? This set up easily and synched with Alexa. When I give a command to Alexa it is understood and the temp change is repeated back but nothing happens on thermostat.

I just installed 2 units. I don't use Alexa so I am not helping you much. All I can say is call the tech support - they ARE supper helpful. I had to call 2x for setting up the units for different tech issues. All are resolved and I am trying them now.
