Why can any fingerprint unlock the lock at first?
Out of the box, the lock hasn’t stored any fingerprints yet, so it temporarily lets any fingerprint in. Pair the App, add your fingerprints, and set a passcode—then only your authorized fingerprints or passcodes can unlock it.
What if the battery dies? Can I charge it?
you can use USB+Type C port for emergency unlocking and charging. Or unlock it with the mechanicakey. This door lock built-in 400mAh rechargeable lithium battery. Battery life varies from 8 to 12months. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge.
