How to separate the front part and the back part of the lock?
Our product package includes a disassembly tool. Use the tool, follow the instruction manual, press the button on the back part of the lock, and separate the two parts.
Do I need to replace the battery after the low battery warning is displayed?
No need to replace the battery. Our 98AW lock is equipped with a rechargeable battery — just charge it for 3 hours, and it can be used for 180 days.
Why can anyone unlock my lock by fingerprint?
1.You haven't added any fingerprints yet, and the lock is in factory reset mode.
2.You may have enabled Passage Mode (the indicator light is pink).
Why can anyone still unlock the lock even though I clearly added fingerprints? (Passage Mode is not enabled)
When adding a fingerprint ( indicator light is blue), you need to confirm that you scan your finger different angles 6 times. After successful collection, the system will emit two beep prompts, and the collector will flash green to indicate success.
How many fingerprints can be added to this lock?
You can store up to 2 administrators and 98 users. (Stored fingerprints can not be created repeatedly.)
