Customize your Sony BURANO to suit your unique filming needs with a wide range of accessories. The top of the plate features ARRI pin-lock standard threads, along with additional side-facing 1/4" and MAP M4 points. This allows for the mounting of the B 4004.1042 - Floating NATO Rail, providing a NATO rail for additional rigging options, especially when paired with NATO cheeseplates. The top plate also includes three Quick-Detach (QD) sockets for easy transportation. Optional side plates can be mounted on either side of the top plate to enhance the cage when paired with B 4004.1038 - BUD Compatible Dovetail Plate for Sony BURANO.

The front of the top plate includes mounting points for the Axl NATO EVF mount or a rod-based monitor support system. This can be combined with B 4004.1043 - 15mm Top Rod Console for Sony BURANO or B 4004.1047 - 19mm Front Rod Mount for Sony BURANO. It is also compatible with the K 2.65264. 0 - ARRI 15mm Rod Console. Safety is a top priority with this top plate. To release the clamp, an orange safety button must be pushed first. Additionally, a discreet bolt can be interchanged with the winged lever to reduce the risk of gear dislodging.

This requires a 3mm hex key to operate the clamp. The Dead Lock Bolt can be activated to enhance stability, securely locking the dovetail in position during challenging shots. The ARRI standard dovetail clamp is optimized for low-mode filming, streamlining the shift to underslung capture and eliminating the need for extra accessories. The top plate also provides ample space for the Sony FX9 handle. When the dovetail plate is removed, the handle integrates seamlessly, linking to the control port for extra audio channels via the MI shoe. Attention to detail is evident in the top plate's design, with mounting points for the Sony Mic holder on both the top and sides, Sony cable clips, and locations to relocate the film plane hook.

Installation is straightforward: align the four captive mounting screws with the camera's top and secure them by tightening with a 4mm hex key in a crisscross pattern.
