SmallHD Indie 5 5" 16:9 Full HD Touchscreen On-Camera Monitor

You can elevate your on-camera monitoring experience with the Indie 5, a 5" 16:9 Full HD Touchscreen On-Camera Monitor that offers unparalleled clarity and control in a compact form. As the smallest and lightest monitor in the Smart 5 Series, the Indie 5 is designed for filmmakers and videographers who demand professional-grade tools without the bulk. Featuring a premium 5-inch touchscreen display with a 1920x1080 resolution, the Indie 5 delivers crisp, clear images that are essential for precise focus pulling and framing. The monitor's 1000nit brightness ensures that the screen remains visible even in challenging daylight conditions, making it a reliable companion for outdoor shoots.

The Indie 5's hyper-responsive touchscreen interface is powered by PageOS 5, SmallHD's advanced operating system. This intuitive UI/UX allows for quick at-a-glance adjustments and smooth navigation through the monitor's extensive features. With the Indie 5, you gain access to a suite of integrated tools designed to enhance your workflow, including accurate exposure and color control, Look-Around Camera Control, EL Zone, and Advanced Teradek RT overlays. For filmmakers working with RED DSMC2, KOMODO, and V-RAPTOR cameras, the Indie 5 offers an optional camera-control functionality that transforms the monitor into a central command hub.

SmallHD's proprietary software grants you direct access to essential camera functions and project settings such as Start/Stop Record, FPS, Shutter Speed, ISO, Color Temperature/White Balance, and Clip Playback, streamlining your on-set operations. The Indie 5 is the entry-level option within the Smart 5 monitor series, yet it doesn't compromise on quality or capability. It's an ideal solution for professionals seeking high-end monitoring features on an indie budget. Whether you're shooting a feature film, a music video, or a commercial, the Indie 5 provides the visual accuracy and control you need to capture your vision with confidence.
