Make your Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K more versatile and secure with the Full Camera Cage Advanced Kit. This newly redesigned kit provides robust protection for your BMCC 6K Full Frame camera body while offering multiple attachment points for a range of accessories, enhancing your camera's functionality. The updated design of this Full Camera Cage features a top plate that seamlessly aligns with the 1/4"-20 thread on the top of the camera body. It also includes a two-screw connection on the bottom, creating a highly secure three-point contact system. The Full Cage is equipped with numerous 1/4"-20 threads with locating pins, cold shoe receivers, an Arri compatible rosette, and a NATO Rail, making it impressively modular.

The right side arm module can be detached, transforming the Full Cage into a Half Cage or L-Bracket, offering flexibility based on your shooting requirements. The Bottom Plate, compatible with the ARCA Receiver of the DJI RS3 Pro, provides several 1/4"-20 mounting points for attaching your camera to various quick release plates. When using the Half Cage, the bottom plate can be extended to support the Black Magic Design Battery Grip. It also includes a 15mm Rod Holder for rod-based accessories in the correct LWS alignment with the Battery Grip. The included 15m LWS Baseplate Type VI can be mounted to the cage, adding 15mm rod support and allowing users to mount rod-based accessories such as matte boxes and follow focus systems.

The Advanced Kit also includes an Advanced Power Handle (Battery Not Included) that mounts to the left side of the cage via NATO Rail. It features a 12V Micro DC Port ( 3.5 / 1.35 mm) and an 8V USB-C port for powering the camera or other accessories. The handle can control Run Stop on the BMCC 6K via an included Run Stop Cable, and its rotation provides flexible operation when shooting handheld. The kit also includes the Xeno Top Handle, which mounts to the cage via a 1/4"-20 screw with locating pins and features a silicone padded grip for comfortable handling.

It also offers numerous mounting points for additional accessories. The included 90 Degree HDMI Adapter attaches to the cage near the HDMI port, providing a secure connection that limits wear on the port. Finally, the kit includes an SSD Drive Holder that mounts via a 1/4"-20 screw with a locating pin, allowing users to secure a Samsung T5 SSD drive for external recording.
Please note: The BMD EVF does not fully clear the Top Plate of the cage. Exercise caution to avoid damage to the EVF.
