The innovative Side Plate is designed for quick transitions to vertical setups, doubling as a bottom plate when mounted vertically. It ensures ample space between rods and the lens, accommodating most accessories seamlessly. The plate's strategically positioned threads align the baseplate with the optical center of the lens, optimizing your vertical shooting configuration. Additionally, the Side Plate supports external recording via an integrated SSD Mount, which fits hard drives measuring 52mm-60mm wide and less than 12mm thick, and offers multiple 1/4"-20 threads for attaching various accessories.

Both the Top and Bottom Plates are engineered to maintain the camera's cooling efficiency by avoiding interference with the body's heat dissipation vents. The Top Plate is compatible with the PYXIS native top handle and includes a detachable 3/8 to 1/4 thread adapter, allowing for the selection of different top handles to suit various setup sizes. The included Xeno Top Handle connects via NATO Rail, enhancing handling and operational versatility with its elegant design and increased clearance. It features multiple mounting options, including 1/4"-20 threads and a Cold Shoe Receiver, ideal for mounting an external monitor.

The kit also includes a 15mm LWS Baseplate and two 15mm Rods, facilitating the attachment of rod-based accessories such as matte boxes or follow focus systems. The Baseplate's Tilta Standard Dovetail Receiver can be adapted to work with ARRI Standard Dovetails using the optional Tilta Standard to ARRI Standard Multi-Functional Baseplate. The Battery Plate, easily mounted and locked into the PYXIS battery compartment, provides power to the camera and can be further secured to the Top Plate with a thumbscrew. It features 2x 14.8V P-Tap ports, 1x 14.8V 2 Pin Lemo Port, 1x USB-C Port, and one DC Power Input Port, ensuring ample power supply for various accessories.

This custom-designed cage for the PYXIS body includes five modular parts: Side Plate, Top Plate, Left Side Arm, Right Side Arm, and Bottom Plate. Each component can be used independently, offering extensive rigging and expansion options for flexible shooting. The Multi-Functional Side Plate supports external recording via the SSD Mount and features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for diverse accessory attachment, including smartphone clamps for livestream setups. The cage's horizontal mode accommodates the LWS 85MM Standard, while the vertical mode ensures sufficient space between rods and the lens for most accessories, meeting diverse production requirements with ease.
