The plate is engineered with precisely positioned threads to align the baseplate with the optical center of the lens, ensuring perfect vertical lens alignment. Additionally, the Side Plate supports external recording via an integrated SSD Mount, featuring multiple 1/4"-20 threads for attaching various accessories. The SSD Mount is compatible with hard drives measuring 52mm-60mm wide and less than 12mm thick.

Both the Top and Bottom Plates are crafted to avoid obstructing the camera's heat dissipation vents, maintaining optimal cooling performance. The Top Plate is compatible with the PYXIS native top handle and includes a detachable 3/8 to 1/4 thread adapter, allowing for the use of different top handles to suit various setups. The included Xeno Top Handle connects to the Top Plate via NATO Rail, enhancing handling and operational flexibility with its elegant design and increased clearance.
