The side plate of the cage is designed with a quick-lock mechanism for easy battery switches and access to the type-c port. It features a magnetic EVA for easy mounting or removal, and can be kept in place without disassembling the original one, providing enhanced protection for your camera. Please note, while the SmallRig Cage 3084C is designed for optimal fit and stability, it may cause slight indentation on the GoPro Hero12 Black due to its special surface technology. However, this does not affect the device's functionality. The package includes two 1.5 mm thick gaskets specifically designed for GoPro Hero 10 / 9 Black for better installation and stability.

For optimal use, install the camera first, then the Max lens mod. Please avoid using the cage in seawater as it lacks acid and corrosion resistance.
