SmallRig "Night Eagle" Cage Kit for Nikon Z5 / Z5II / Z6 / Z6II / Z7 / Z7II 5259 is designed to provide creators with a comfortable low-angle shooting experience while offering comprehensive protection and versatile expansion interfaces for the camera. Its curved structure, adorned with gold accents, the classic Nikon red mark, and vintage leather, imparts a distinctive professional aesthetic to the cage. The kit includes the cage, a top handle, an HDMI & USB-C cable clamp, and a cold shoe mount. The included cable clamp ensures secure cable connections for stable data transmission.
Equipped with a detachable cold shoe mount featuring an anti-twist locating pin, the mount can be attached to the 1/4"-20 locating holes on both sides and the top of the cage, allowing for the mounting of accessories such as microphones (ID 3487) and video lights (ID 4660). The included ergonomic handle facilitates smooth camera movement and incorporates storage area for screws, such as 1/4"-20 screws, 3/8"-16 screws, and M2.5 screws.

The kit features various mounting options, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, a HawkLock quick release NATO rail, a QD socket, and strap slots. These interfaces allow for the expansion of accessories like monitor mounts (ID 2903B), side handles (ID 4485, 4016), top handles (ID 3765), rod clamps (ID 3598), magic arms (ID 3875), and tripods (ID 4465, 4060). It also features shoulder strap slots for carrying the camera with the lens facing down to prevent damage.

The bottom features an Arca-Swiss quick release plate for direct mounting to Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro / RS 4 Mini gimbals, enabling quick transitions between stabilizer, handheld, and tripod setups. For power solutions, it can be paired with V-mount battery plates (ID 4505) and V-mount batteries (ID 4608) for extended shooting time.Note: Please remove the D-rings on both sides of the camera before installing the cage.
