SmallRig Full Camera Cage Kit with Battery Plate and Top Handle for Sony FX3 and FX30 Cameras

SmallRig Cage Kit for Sony FX3 / FX30 5823 is a compact handheld power solution that delivers professional V-mount battery power while maintaining a streamlined, stable, and lightweight setup. Designed for portability, the foldable battery mount plate makes it easy to transport and set up wherever your filming takes you. This comprehensive kit includes a cage, NATO rail, V-mount battery mount plate, LCD screen protector, elastic hook & loop fastener, top handle, and HDMI cable clamp. The modular NATO rail on top is compatible with SmallRig's NATO top handle (ID 3766) and monitor mount (ID 2906B), but can also be removed for use with Sony's original XLR top handle.

The cage features multiple mounting options, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes and locating holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes, and a NATO rail - supporting expansion of accessories like monitor mounts (ID 2903B) and side handles (ID 5160, 5194). Additionally, a built-in cold shoe mount accommodates microphones or lights (ID 4660) for added functionality. The base features a QD socket for QD shoulder straps (ID 4118B) and includes a magnetic flat wrench for easy assembly. The integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate on the bottom ensures compatibility with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro gimbals, enabling seamless transitions between handheld, gimbal, and tripod configurations.

Finally, the included HDMI cable clamp securely holds cable connections for stable data transmission, while the ergonomic top handle features a non-slip silicone coating for a comfortable grip, making your shooting experience smoother and more enjoyable.
Notes: Remove the top NATO rail when attaching Sony's native XLR top handle The NATO rail features 1/4"-20 threaded holes with 27mm spacing; it's incompatible with accessories requiring 18mm spacing, such as the monitor mount (ID 2904B) - Cage -SmallRig Cage for Sony FX30 / FX3 4183B is designed to protect camera and provide accessory mounting points. The modular cage consists of a NATO rail and a U-shaped cage. The NATO rail is secured on the top via two 1/4"-20 screws and removed to allow installing the original XLR top handle; the U-shaped cage is fixed via 1/4"-20 screws on both sides and at the bottom to prevent twisting, with a cushion against scratches. At the battery door there is a hinge arm that fits camera curve for improved grip experience for little finger. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp protects interfaces to ensure stable signal transmission. Among its varied accessory mounts, 1/4"-20 holes support Magic Arm 2070; ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes connect Top Handle 2165C or Monitor Mount 2903B; the top NATO rail supports Top Handle 3322, and the left one, Side Handle 2187B; 1/4"-20 locating holes at the top-left quarter and on the left side attach Rod Clamp 3598 for follow focus; two 1/4"-20 holes on the right side allow being securely mounted onto a quick release plate for vertical shooting; the cold shoe mount supports microphone, LED light; and the QD port at the bottom fits QD strap.

An Arca-Swiss quick release plate at the bottom can attach DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro directly or quick release plate (height increase pad) for DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 gimbal and Arca-Type Quick Release Plate 3154. Both sides and the bottom have holes for Hand Strap 3848 and Shoulder Strap PSC2428. A magnetic spanner is also included for easy assembly and disassembly
