SmallRig "Night Eagle" Cage for Nikon Z5 / Z5II / Z6 / Z6II / Z7 / Z7II 5258 is designed to provide comprehensive protection for the camera while offering versatile expansion interfaces. Its curved structure, embellished with gold accents, the classic Nikon red mark, and vintage leather, imbues the cage with a distinctive professional aesthetic. The cage boasts a three-point locking system, using a bottom 1/4"-20 screw and dual side M2.5 screws to secure the camera and prevent deflection, while built-in pads protect it from scratches. Importantly, the cage does not interfere with the camera's buttons, ports, flip screen, or battery compartment.Equipped with a detachable cold shoe mount featuring an anti-twist locating pin, the mount can be attached to the 1/4"-20 locating holes on both the sides and top of the cage, allowing for the mounting of accessories such as microphones (ID 3487) and video lights (ID 4660). The cage also features 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 locating holes, 3/8"-16 threaded holes, and ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes for attaching various accessories. These include side handles (ID 4015) and top handles (ID 3765) for smooth camera movement, as well as monitor mounts (ID 2903B), tripods (ID 3989), power bank holders (ID BUB2336), mini V-mount battery plates (ID 2987), and more. The side features a 1/4"-20 locating hole for mounting single rod clamps (ID 3598), magic arms (ID 3873), and side handles (ID 4346).
The left side of the cage integrates a HawkLock quick release NATO rail, enabling the attachment of side handles (ID 4485, 4840) for quick accessory assembly and disassembly. It also features a cold shoe mount for microphones and lights, a strap slot for wrist straps (ID 3848), and a QD socket for shoulder straps (ID 4118B). It also features shoulder strap slots designed for carrying the camera with the lens facing down to prevent damage.
The bottom features an Arca-Swiss quick release plate for direct mounting to Arca-type tripods (ID 4060) and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro / RS 4 Mini gimbals, enabling quick transitions between stabilizer, handheld, and tripod setups. For power solutions, it can be paired with V-mount battery plates (ID 4505) and V-mount batteries (ID 4608) for extended shooting time. The built-in double head wrench at the bottom facilitates easy assembly and disassembly.Note: Please remove the D-rings on both sides of the camera before installing the cage.
