TME Leader Tape, Open Reel Audio, Solid White, 500 FT 1/4" Width Pancake Feedpack

For open reel tape decks, 1/4 inch width format, our AC1LWH500PF comes as a Feedpack, which is tape in a box with the loose end of the tape fed through a slot in the side of the box, and you simply pull as much tape out of the box you need, and cut the length needed. This simple system prevents dust from gathering on the tape, and you don't pay for a reel. It's quick, easy, money saving, and you don't have to worry about handling a pancake of tape which can lead to a spaghetti heap of tape! The leader tape is solid white, and not coated clear plastic like other leader tapes sold, so there's nothing to shed off the tape and clog your tape heads.

This is the same tape we sell to the leading archives in the United States. It's biaxially stable, and properly slit. Internally, the tape spool is mounted on a metal support attached to a backer, which is a strong system to hold the spool in place for easy spooling. If you want to color identify the leader, simply draw a color stripe on the end to show which end is tails out (blue stripe) or head out (red stripe) or any other code you want.
