Conventional star-quad design: two connectors on each end, connected to a pair of conductors on opposite sides. This cable can also be ordered in bi-wired versions. High-quality terminations are a key feature: a special ultrasonic welding process bonds the copper wire directly to the brass banana or spade connector, without any intermediate metal, compression sleeves, or setscrews. The star-quad cable design decreases the electromagnetic field surrounding the cable, reducing interaction with other cabling in the system. Assembled in Seattle, Washington, with proprietary connectors and a Sonobond welder. The locking banana plugs ensure excellent engagement between the plug and binding post; rotating the locking collar tightens the splines against the inside of the post
