Why doesnt the back of the PSU have an on/off switch? A friend recently purchased and we cannot power the system on

What app should you use to change the RGB colors? None of the ones I've gone through have been able to change it, Aura Sync, OpenRGB, SignalRGB. There was no remote in the box either to change the colors so now I'm just kinda lost.
