I wish I could answer your question but I can't.  Either ask another and/or refer to your local Mac dealer/repair center.  I can say that the Crucial uses the same sata connector as the hard drive that is currently in your 2009 Macbook Pro, but I'm unsure about Mac's power connectors in 2009 or whether Crucial's drivers are cool with your Mac.

I retract this question, and I'm going to get new glasses ASAP.  I saw 200GB, but looking closer, yes, it's 2000GB, which equals 2TB.

Can this be installed  in a dell latitude 7480?

Accepted Answer

No.  You can’t use a 2.5” SATA drive in this laptop.  You’ll need either an M.2 SATA (fast) or M.2 NVME (crazy fast).  Looks like it supports up to 2280 length M.2 drives, which is the standard.  If you use NVME, sometimes you need to change some bios settings.  Good luck!

Would this SSD drive be compatible with a Cyberpower Xtreme GXC780 computer?

Absolutely.  However remember, when installing any HD to your computer it will need to be formated.  Also if it's to be used as a boot drive unplug all other drives and plug the SSD into Sata 1 before installing Windows.  Before the install Windows will probably tell you the drive needs to be formated.  Use the GPT format.  If any problems with "Windows cannot be installed to this disk" occurs during install use F10 during install (command prompt), diskpart, list, select disk0, clean, then hit enter.  This will wipe any selected disk completely and Windows will install.

Will this 2TB SSD fit in a Dell Studio 1558 laptop? Not sure about the 3D NAND. Does that make a difference in whether it will fit? If it's compatible, do I need anything else like a cable to connect, or does it insert in a slot?

The MX500 2TB SSD will fit perfectly in your Dell Studio 1558 system. You will need to clone your computer's existing hard drive to the MX500 prior to installing it. This can be done by connecting the MX500 to a USB enclosure (about $20) and using free software, such as AOMEI Backupper Standard edition. After the clone operation is complete, replace the existing hard drive with the MX500 SSD, boot up the system, and voilà, your computer will boot and run way faster than you ever imagined possible! (The 3D NAND refers to the type of memory cell technology used in the drive, and has nothing to do with the drive's physical size.)
