Does the wifi require an antenna?

It comes with one but from my experience it gets really good signal just fine if you decide not to connect it.

Will the BIOS version installed on the board support ryzen 5000 out of the box?

It did not for me (purchased last week). I used the BIOS flashback on the motherboard to update the firmware via USB since I didn't have a 3000 series AMD CPU laying around. Worked like a charm.

Is the TPM 2.0 Chip installed ? I could not find it in the Specs

I have the ROG Strix B550-F Gaming (w/o built in WIFI). After turning on TPM in the Bios and running tpm.msc, it shows TPM 2.0 version is installed.

can you fit an ssd nvme with a heatsink?

Yes, you remove the heatsink, place the ssd, then put the heatsink back on top, it covers the ssd.

Is this MOBO going to be compatible with the Ryzen 9 5800X?

Yes you just have update the bios

Does this support ryzen 2nd gen?

No, my understanding is that none of the B550/570 MB's support 2nd Gen. You have to have a 3rd gen Ryzen processor to use these boards.

Will this already be updated to the latest cpu BIOS to work out of the box with a Ryzen 3900x cpu?

Yes the Bios is updated for all 3rd gen AM4 processors.

can you still use the back io usb that has the bios label on it?

Yes, you can still use the back I/O USB port that has the BIOS label on it.

does it work with zen 3 5000 cpus out of the box? (feb 2021)

A BIOS update might be required for AMD Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 series CPU.
