I have a Toshiba 3.5 HDD in mine and it works just fine.
I think what the person who told you that meant is that with larger PSUs you have to remove the HDD cage to make room.
BTW I have a 750 watt EVGA PSU in mine.

From the RGB controller, there's a connector that doesn't seem to have any slot on my MB.  Is there some kind of PCI-E adapter for this RGB controller?
