Rosewill - Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Top-Mounted USB 3.0 Port, Three Fans Included - 1 x Front Blue LED 120mm, 1 x Rear 120mm, 1 x Top 120mm - Galaxy-02

Pros: - Case is extremely light; quite possibly one of the lightest I've put a build together with. - Space design of this case was very well thought out. The case is wide enough to accommodate larger after-market cooling solutions. While a TT Ultra 120 was just a tad bit too big, an older model Zalman 9900 cooler fit. (That's a pretty big cooling fan to squeeze in a mid-tower.) - Going a step further there is a gap between the housing for the hard drives and CD/DVD drives of ~3.5 inches. I mention this because this gap should line up with most primary PCI Express slots on modern motherboards. This should accommodate most modern (read long) video cards as there's ~15 inces of clearance from the front to back of the case for the video card. Quite possibly one of the most intelligent designs put into a mid tower case. - Bottom mounted PSU. Personally I'm a fan of this as it gives much needed stability to cases. More specifically, cases as light as this. - To my surprise, no sharp edges. When you get down below a certain price point you can find some really cheap cases and most of them have some pretty rough cuts. This is not case here. (pardon the pun) - Water cooling holes on the top rear of the case. Another great design choice giving more options to this fairly inexpensive case.

Cons: - Case feels somewhat flimsy which explains the light weight. - I've had workouts that made me sweat less then I do trying to get the side door off this thing. Ok, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but not far from the truth. The flimsiness of the case caused things to fall just slightly out of alignment which is causing the side door to stick something fierce. - Personally I'm not comfortable with the venting holes for the PSU given the height of the case feet. Mount your PSU fan side up else you may risk overheating it. Especially if this desktop will be on a carpet. - Little bit of vibration when your DVD drive spins up. Again, related to the material used. - Blue LED lights on a red and black case... While I don't knock eggs for aesthetic choices I would recommend the fist thin you do is swap out the front fan for either a red LED or non-LED fan.

Overall Review: As I said, there's a little of Jekyll and Hyde in this case. It's got enough room to house a few DVD drives, 4 hard drives, a fairly large video card, and room to spare for a nice aftermarket CPU cooler. But all that is coupled with a case that's frustrating to get into and gets a little noisy if you leave a disc in your drive. However if you can look past those last 2 things (which are fairly minor if you don't need to get into your case or leave discs in every day) this is one heck of a mid tower. Seriously, for this price range you do get quite a bit for your money. If Rosewill could possibly make a change the door design as well as tweak the cooling holes for the PSU I would say they would have a rock solid mid tower case that is just large enough to compete with a few of its full tower brothers. This case has earned a very solid 4 out of 5 eggs. Well done.

Pros: Low cost, decent design. Comes with 3 fans preinstalled and quick release 5.25" bay covers. It has fan filter for power supply. USB 3.0 port. Black painted screws.

Cons: Case is made of thin 0.5mm (0.019") steel. Because case is made out of thin steel, case bends and vibrates easily. Because of thin steel, it is light weight, which can add to noise generated by HDD. Power LED light is connected to power connector (molex connector) from power supply. It is probably because the case have 2 high brightness blue LEDs for power indicator. However, because it is not connected to motherboard, it cannot display sleep state. There is no other filters than power supply fan filter. Since the case have many tiny holes in front (mesh), It would be nice to have some sort of filter. It is not that big of deal since most cases don't come with one. There is space for 2 USB 3.0 ports on top, but only 1 is installed. Also USB 3.0 connector to motherboard is for 2 USB 3.0 ports, but there is only 1 on the case. So, you will loose 1 USB 3.0 port by connecting this. HDD status light is just 5mm red LED lamp connected straight onto the case. No lens or cover in front. That makes it look even cheaper. It was hard to open side panel. There and a little bump out in the back to use as handle. However it is too small to actually put finger under and pull. Only good way to open is to push against side panel and slide it. However, because case is made out of thin steel, side panel flexes quiet a bit.

Overall Review: Price of computer cases have increased past several years. I am currently using thicker aluminum case I bought about 7 years ago at lower price than this case. It is very hard to find a good case these days at decent price. This case would been pretty good case if they used thicker steel. But with only 0.5mm thick, I would pay little more for thicker case.

Pros: Most of the Builds I design are massive rigs designed for High end graphics and Gaming, so I don't use allot of mid tower cases. This one will be perfect for the home-built NAS / FAH rig I have been thinking about. It has a fairly tool-less design for the shell of the case. All the panels are easily removed and replaced without worry. Holds 3 120mm fans and one 120 / 140mm fan on the side. If you can find the port from Rosewill you might to buy the second USB 3.0 Port for the top of the case. Inside of the case is fairly well rounded off .... no sharp edges except on the back panel, but there not very sharp, doubt they will cut you. Should have enough room for a good size video card. Standoffs come pre-installed for mATX, must use additional for ATX boards. It comes with them and every screw that you might use......... and few extra's. Power button feels nice and solid, you know when you pressed it.

Cons: Large PSU's with a 140mm fan will be chocked off by the small breathing holes in the bottom of the case. Would not recommend a large PSU, so not a great gaming case. After you use the first expansion slot you have to knock out the others for use. Only comes with Two replacements. Water cooling ports only support 1/2" tubing but hey I've drilled my own before :P

Overall Review: Rosewill back in the day left be battered bruised and bleeding from both hands after building in it, and it didn't even look good. This case is definitely ALLOT better than that case I used back then. It's only $50 and worth every penny for a moderate budget PC.

Pros: Attractive, nicely designed case with plenty of room. I have a large CPU cooler and there was no issue with room. USB3 connector on top of the case is a Good Thing. The fans move a lot of air and are really very quiet. Not a loud case at all. The bottom-mounted power supply is a good thing, especially given that this is a very light case, it adds stability when the case is standing.

Cons: No major cons noted, but some minor "quirks." The threading of the motherboard standoffs will not fit a standard screw--use the screws that ship with the case. Not a big deal--but more of a "Huh? Really?" The metal in the case is thin. I did manage to get a cut on a finger getting everything together. Do be careful..also the thin walls make the case feel a little "flimsy" at first. The power switch is on top of the case and is a very light-throw switch. If you have cats, like we do, that like to hop up on top of your computer case to "keep you company' while you are working, you will need to cover that switch to avoid Feline Shutdown Syndrome. :o)

Overall Review: It's a good case, it's worth the money, and it is attractively designed. There is no clear side window but that's not a big deal to me.

Cons: -thin metal = loud case -nothing special about the design -no SSD (2.5") adaptor -side panel has a vent for a fan but no fan is included -2 x USB 2.0 inputs in the front. I would of preferred USB 3.0 -CD Drives, Hard drives are mounted by screws, not sliding brackets

Overall Review: This is a decent case and for the price it is o.k. It functions and performs as a case but only at the bare minimum. If you look at other designs and companies, computer cases have come a long ways. This takes a step back in design as it is works but there's nothing special about it. I would of liked to see brackets for your hard drives and cd drives so that you could easily slide them in and out without screws. A see through side panel would of also been great. It will fit a midrange gfx card such as a gtx 660 but nothing bigger so beware. Overall, it works as a case but nothing more.

Pros: This is a Great Case for a budget build. It comes with a lot of fans, nice cable management features (I am a complete nut about cable management), and plenty of room to work inside. I use a Corsair H60 water cooler and there's plenty of room on the rear slot to setup a push/pull on the waterblock. I purchased a 14cm Cougar Hyperspin fan for the side door and my old i7 920 setup is happy and running cool in this case.

Cons: There was a small dent on the side door of the case. It definitely did not occur during shipping. This was a result of poor quality control in my estimation. As others have also reviewed, the side doors can be a bit snug and hard to open. I found that if you gently pull on the door handle and simultaneously push it from the front end of the case, it opens a lot easier. I see how easy it can be to bend the door if you are not careful. Once you get it open a simple bending of the front tabs prevents this issue from occurring in the future. The 1 egg deduction reflects these minor flaws

Overall Review: Do not be turned away be some of the negative reviews. This is an inexpensive, low cost case. I'm a little miffed to see people trash the case and review it as if it were a two-hundred plus top of the line case. You get what you pay for, and if you are in this price range you have no legitimate basis for calling the construction of this case flimsy or cheap (other than to denote to price). Cons: - No real thought put into making cable management easy. There are no grommets, no velcro straps, nothing. - The build quality is questionable. The top part of my case became loose after a year and I could move it side to side by a few milimeters. - Front USB header became loose and would only occasionally work - Little room for fans. The case comes with one intake fan in the front and two exhaust fans. - No removable HDD bays

Overall Review: This case is not for gamers or people who will have a lot of components in their PC. Cable management is far too difficult, resulting in a mess of wires and restricted airflow. As a first time PC builder, this case made the process painful instead of rewarding.

Pros: Fully Painted. The screws it comes with are nice. Fit of everything it really good considering the price though I haven't seen highend cases so I don't know. The bottom 5.25" bay has 3.5" hole and rail for a multi-reader, etc... Power supply air filter is works well.

Cons: Paint is thin in spots. Power button LED is a 4-pin Molex connector??? HDD LED is Redinstead of a matching Blue??? Fan port on side panel is unneeded or should came with cover. My Power LED(s) died in a few days. New quickly replaced case. Though I couldn't just get Power button package. Which I had tear down system. Also lost stickers that were on front panel. Blue LEDs in front are in the fan. (could have put lit up fan it top too then it would have been nice) Possibly the USB 3.0 port in top panel is not working correctly(speed about half of what a device can do in other ports) could be the header on my Mobo. Rubber feet would be better than hard plastic.
