Decent First Case 5/6/2014 9:21:16 AM

Pros: Looks very nice, worked well with my red/black theme.
Good airflow with a couple more fans.

Cons: Little to no cable management options. Feels kinda cheap, SSD mounting was one of the dumbest things I've seen on a case.

Overall Review: Wouldn't buy a "flashy" looking case in this price range. Go for one with good airflow and a solid construction. You'll appreciate that much more than a cool looking case.

You get what you pay for 4/24/2014 5:38:35 AM

Pros: Black Painted Interior

Cons: Cheap quality
No Exhaust fan included
Bad layout
No cable management cut outs
Horrible SSD mounting system

Overall Review: I bought this case on my other Newegg account for a Customers build. I originally got it to go with the Gray/Red theme including Red LED's that I installed.

However, I noticed immediately that I didn't like this case. After building and working with many many other cases, even in this price point, I just didn't like anything about this case really. The expansion slot brackets are even break always and not exchangeable, no where to run cables for a clean look, cheap looking case from the outside, Newegg pictures make it look much better then it does in person.

You get what you pay for yea, but there is a horde of other cases in this price point that are MUCH better. My last Silverstone case in this price range for sure.

Good, not great 3/5/2014 9:41:57 AM

Pros: Good features; if someone wants 8 or 10 drives in a small case, this can be an excellent choice.

The motherboard tray is 'cut off and rolled' near the front edge of the motherboard so there's minimal flex. This design also allows much easier access to see and install cables into the stacked SATA pedestals from the 'backside' of the case during a Build or (more importantly) during later updates/maintenance. That's a great feature.

The 3.5"-bay structure allows good airflow from the facia-mounted fan, so filling that rack with drives offers better-than-most ventilation.

Ten drives in this case isn't difficult to manage, plus there's a 2.5/SSD 'mount' on the base of the case as well.

There is also good-enough 'headroom' clearance above any motherboard's RAM slots for half-inch fans to be installed after the motherboard. Of course, it's much easier to install those first, but unlatching the RAM clamps has ample room, regardless.

The upper-facia connectors (USB 3, audio) beg this unit to be installed below a desk or on a lower shelf. But there is good distance between those and any optical drive tray that may be opened. If there are external drives attached to these front-connectors, its cable will probably NOT snag easily, therefore, because of the upward angle. Very nice.

Cons: Despite my high preference for this case, there could be design improvements, however, and some Build Process Adjustments help, too.

The case's 8" width is still a half-inch too narrow on two counts: this doesn't allow HDDs to be mounted either Nose Out or Tail Out - they can only be inserted Nose Out, meaning that any HDD maintenance requires removing both side-panels. (The Antec 302 allows both orientations, for example.)

The narrow width also means "hiding cables behind motherboard tray" is almost impossible, except for the 4 sets of Power-LED-HDD wires. Any other cables will create a bulge on the back-panel.

This narrowness also begs for 90-degree SATA cables to be used on the HDD connectors.

During the initial build process, I'd recommend not hiding ANY cables ANYWHERE. Leave them loose and flopping around.

That's because the Facia Connectors (USB 3, Audio, Power & LEDs) are connected to the Facia, and if those cables are tucked away, then it's impossible to remove the Facia without a major un-hiding, re-wiring, re-assembly process. The facia snaps in and out, securely, which allows easy access to the 5.25" bays.

If this case was a half inch (or more) wider, it would be a tremendous improvement. If the facia-connectors were installed on the case-frame instead of the facia, this too would allow quicker builds (by stuffing those cables into nooks and crannies during the initial parts installations).

Great case 2/1/2014 3:48:26 PM

Pros: This is a great looking case can runs well. If you get a few more red fans it adds a lot to the case. Has good space for all your stuff too.

Cons: None at this time.

Get what you pay for 10/15/2013 6:54:13 PM

Pros: - Nice power button
- Awesome red LED on the front intake fan
- Side window
- Dust filters
- Overall nice looking

Cons: - The "no tool" hard drive and optical drive slot thingies are kinda sketch. They aren't bad, and they look cool, but they seem a bit weak. They hold everything fine, it's just the way they look.
- The front intake fan really sucks. It's like a small asthmatic rat is coughing into my case. It is almost doing nothing.

Overall Review: Bought this with a supercombo. Came with an AMD 8350 and a Sapphire 7850 so I didn't want to let those two go over a case. After all, what's on the inside is what really matters. You might want to add another fan to the back to make up for the front intake fan, or replace both.

Overall, you get what you pay for. I haven't had issues with the case and don't agree that it is very flimsy. It seems solid enough for me.

Pros: usb 3.0 x2, red led fan. nice powerbutton

Cons: Don't really like the reset button, front i/o are very plain, not very good cable management, feels very flimsy, side panel came warped.

Overall Review: Meh, it's alright, wish I would have gotten something better though.

Best bang for the buck 10/1/2012 8:40:45 PM

Pros: -USB 3.0
-Well built
-Great looking window
-Good button placement

Cons: -hard rubber feet(doesn't prevent vibration or scratching)
-Lack of PSU cable hole, will get messy
-Air filter is weird, holds on with magnets, for me and my OCD, I will constantly be making sure it is on squarely.

Overall Review: This case, which I bought for $35 after rebate, is amazing. Has everything I could want and more. That being said, it is a budget case. That means it's kinda flimsy and just generally not super well made. There are some weird paint marks, the expansion slot covers are one time use and the feet aren't good for anything more than lifting it off the ground. But this is my first build and money is tight. Even so, I feel this case will treat me very well. Can't wait to put stuff in it!
