A decent mini tower for the price 5/22/2020 8:59:10 PM

Pros: Nice clean looks, and no sharp edges that I found! (I normally can find them without trying! :/)
All of the wires for the switches, USB, USB3, and front audio header were long enough to be routed and hidden behind the MB, and back cover of the case.
Mounting points for up to 4 full size 3.5 in hard drives, (If you use a small enough MB and a stock heatsink!)
With a DVD drive mounted, there is still room to store all of the extra wires from a NON modular, standard size power supply.

Cons: The feet are made from a hard plastic, so the case moves around when pushing the power button!
There is no way to mount a 120mm fan to the side panel if you have a full size HDD mounted to the internal case support.
Poor ventilation at the front of the case.
The insulating grommets for mounting HDD's to the case support fall out if you look at them the wrong way!

Overall Review: A MB of 9.6" x 8.1" is about as big as you'll want to try to fit in this case!
This case is great for a work station that has a small foot print.
If you are going to place this on a desktop, it might be a good idea to put it on 2 mouse pads to keep it from sliding around!!

Maybe don't get a cheap case next time.. 5/17/2020 1:00:15 AM

Pros: perfect price for a budget/first build.
I like the black/red theme.
Everything works.

Cons: Broken foot i had to glue on, some of the insertion tabs were busted in front panel.
Standoffs were kinda crooked, made it work.
Some dings here and there.

Overall Review: Definitely going to throw more down for a case. This one got the job done but with barely any wiggle room. Wires were simple enough to connect, fans could be slightly better.

You get what you pay for. 5/15/2020 11:10:06 AM

Pros: This is a lightweight case, meant to be a first time builder case. The pre-loaded fans and style is meant to take the guess work out of what you need. It is pretty stable and basic. if you mess up and totally foul up the case, you can easily get another one for the price. Everything is pretty easy to install, and set up. I would describe everything as "cozy" and really meant for Micro-ATX boards. {More in my Cons Opinion later} There is room for two 120mm fans, and one 80mm exhaust. I am sure if you wanted to try hard, you could rig a 120mm for exhaust, but by that point you would be nit-picking as its just not worth the hassle. Cable management was pretty tedious as, again, its very cozy in there, and I would see someone having to go out to buy right angled SATA cables a chore. Not impossible but you really do need to plan everything out. Sadly, there were no zip ties included, so add that to your shopping list. Lastly, mounting everything was relatively simple. I had no issues as of this writing. Did have to re-thread a few holes on the finger screws for the case but nothing to really to harp on.

Cons: Let me just start this by prefacing the fact that this is everything you see and it is designed to be a cheap build case. Cheap fans included. The high gloss will show finger prints. Main gripe number one is that you may as well toss the included fans in a drawer or the trash and buy new ones. Sure, they work but for how long? The exhaust fan that was included in mine felt very stiff on the blades. The 120mm on the front was dim and moved air. Speaking of which, lets talk about air flow. Please spend the money on the 120mm for the side. Your only real flow from the front is a small slit on the bottom at the front of the case. If you had the room for more than 2 fans in the front, I could understand, but even I guess you have to pay more for a mesh grill for air flow on the front anymore. On the topic of small, it must be said that this case was aimed for Micro-ATX and anything bigger would be a headache. Building in here was not really torture, but my hands are a bit on the bigger side, so the amount of space you have to work in is lacking. Best advice I saw here in the comments was to go ahead and get your Power supply mounted first, and run the cables to where you feel you would need them. Second, if you are using a CD drive of any kind, get a right angled SATA cable head. While I am here on SATA, the choices for mounting hard drives is not very forthcoming. Clearance is an issue if you have a full sized HDD as it will make mounting the Graphics card rather difficult. There is space to put two 2.5" on the back of the build so at the very least, you could, in theory, run them both in the back and they never be seen. However, Lord help you if you have a full HDD as its just cramps up everything. Removable bracket helps a little, and I am sure if I wanted to put in the effort, I would just Dremel it in half to make this a bit better if I only have just one.

Overall Review: Overall, its cheap, its effective on being a case and for the price, you don't get much. For a first time builder, it would be ok if they want to learn. You won't hurt it too much and if you do, toss it and buy another. Mine did come with a couple of scratches on delivery and I am not sure who to blame, hence the negative one star. For a simple and dirty build, go for it. Don't expect much in the way of upgrade paths here with getting a bigger MOBO. As stated before, I feel this was aimed for Micro-ATX and not much more. I would also say you have a 50\50 shot of this case either being a total waste or just serving its purpose as just a case for maybe an extra build laying around. You do get what you pay for and just know that you could, maybe, spend a bit more on a better case.

Decent 5/8/2020 9:18:16 PM

Pros: Sleek look
Small Size

Cons: Poor cable management options
3.5" HDD bay blocks RAM slots when installed normally
5.25" drive bay not usable with top mounted PSU

Overall Review: Not a bad case, looks nice. Used it for a minimal build for a friend, no graphics card and just a single 3.5" HDD. The problem is that when using the only 3.5" HDD bay in the case, the SATA power cable blocks both RAM slots. Didn't try a SSD but the cage doesn't look optimal for the majority that I have worked with (I imagine it's a bit big) Was able to mount the HDD upside down so the the cabling didn't interfere with the ram with some creative maneuvering, but it's definitely not ideal. I'd recommend using M.2 and SSD only with this case as the 3.5" bay is not really usable. The 5.25" drive bay is likely not usable either, there just isn't enough space with the PSU mounted up top. I used the space to stuff cables in. Micro ATX obviously will always have space challenges, but the 3.5" and 5.25" bays are just not functional in this case, plan accordingly.

Good Build Quality 5/4/2020 1:23:06 PM

Pros: Good build quality
You get more than your money's worth

Overall Review: Not really a negative, but the dimensions in the specifications are off. It is actually 14.2" (not 13.2 as stated) x 6.8" x 14.5" (not 14"). The opening I needed it to fit in was unfortunately only 14" high. The quality is nice enough that I will find another way to put it to use.

Decent compact case, If you can get one. 2/28/2020 4:08:09 PM

Pros: Fits up to a micro ATX motherboard and a standard ATX Power Supply.
Price is reasonable.
Decent ventilation.

Cons: Hard plastic feet which might slide around on a solid surface.
Rear fan is 80mm, not 120 (the description is correct, just don't care for the smaller, faster fan)
2 USB 2.0 ports and a single 3.0 port on top. (it would make better sense to have the top two ports 3.0 and a single slower port)
Clear plastic front cover forces intake air from the bottom slot area which will pickup more dust than having a ventilated front cover like the MA08-BK
Newegg seems to have trouble inventorying this item so be prepared to find an alternative

Overall Review: This case is made from very light material, but it is not 'flimsy'.
Nice rolled edges in almost all openings.
There is room for some cable management, but if you utilize a standard harness Power Supply, be prepared to wrestle some wires into the provided spaces. (can look great if you take your time and plan out the wiring routing)
I would recommend this to anyone who needs to do a 'budget build'
Again, Newegg does not seem to inventory this all of the time.
