For the GA-Z270N-WiFi, if I'm using the M.2 on the back of the board with a 4X SSD, does it reduce the bandwidth to the PCI-E 16X slot for graphics?

Don't know but look up in manual or go to their website. Call them for assistance if necessary. U may have already done this however so sorry.

Why have you not learned from the complaints of the Z170 version of this board that you need to put a heatsink on the MOSFETs?! Unacceptable.
