I want to pair this with a pentium G3258.  Some people say this Mobo can overclock, and some say it cannot. Who is right?

Almost all boards have the settings in the bios to overclock. What makes some better than others are the cooling features and quality of components (capacitors, resistor ) that will handle the extra heat generated by overclocking.

So to answer your question Yes you can overclock, but this motherboard is not equipped with the correct coolers to handle more than a negligible overclock. So for a performance difference you won't be able to notice you run the risk of burning up your board.

The PCI 3 slot looks very close to the RAM slots. Will most graphics cards fit without issue?

I have an evga gtx 470 in mine which uses the Nvidia reference design and it fits just fine. Can't speak for other cards though.

I having trouble getting PC to boot with this MOBO.  Do I need to use the 4 pin ATX 12V?  I am currently using the 24 pin ATXPWR1 connection.

I think that besides the 24pin connection to the MOBO, you also should have another power supply going to the CPU on the motherboard.

No, it does not. Usually on Newegg, if it has wireless, it says it does, and if it doesn't say anything about it, it doesn't.

Where do I find wires to connect the USB ports to their assigned spots on the motherboard? Is the motherboard supposed to come with them, because the only wires I have are 2 SATA cords. Thank you!

is this compatible with the geforce 550ti nvidia GPU. it is a pcie 2.0 16bit. but on asrock's site it says something about  1 x PCI Express 3.0 x16 Slot (PCIE2: x16 mode) and wondered does that mean it will work?

It's like placing a USB 2 in a USB 3 slot, your device will work the same.

It sure does, its a Realtek audio card.  7.1 channels, with multiple 3.5 mm jacks, and an optical port for SPDIF/HD audio.

I am going to be using this mobo with an i3 CPU. I am currently studying up on "overclocking", and the guru says that you must make sure your motherboard is compatible to be "overclocked". I can't lie, I don't know what this means as I am a newb to the PC world as far as gaming goes. I already ordered this mobo from you guys (along with a ton of other parts), am I good to go as far as overclocking? Thanks!

First of all, an i3 cannot be overclocked. Intel locks all i3 processors, so the only way to really OC them is by adjusting the cpu strap or core clock, you can't change the ratio. Not only that, but H97 chipsets do not support overclocking either. You would need a K series cpu (such as the 4690K or the 4790K) with a Z series motherbooard (Z97) to do overclocking.
