Pros: Good performance, good price, EVGA product, small size, current technology.
Cons: No optical digital audio out. Why did they include 1) Documentation is almost non-existant. You get a small manual written in 40 languages. Zero troubleshooting pages, no explanation of error beep codes. 2) Extremely basic BIOS. 3) Layout is very poor. 3a) CPU is about 2 inches east from the standard location on most motherboards, so vent tubes and windows built into cases are not centered on the CPU. Standard heat sinks nearly touch RAM slot no.2; blocked entirely by larger cooling assemblies. 3b) SATA-0, -1, and -3 are blocked completely by moderate to large graphics cards in the x16 2.0 slot. These should be side-accessible like EVGA's X58 board. 3c) You can not operate the southern RAM clips with a medium or large graphics card installed in the x16 2.0 slot. To replace/upgrade/move RAM sticks, you need to completely remove your graphics card so that you can fully open the RAM clips. Very annoying
Overall Review: 4) The provided Faceplate requires very careful examination prior to installation. Many of the metal contacts are intended to rest on top of the port housings, but this is difficult to accomplish during installation. Note: 1-Long, 2-short beep indicates improperly seated graphics card. the same code repeating means improperly or incorrectly seated RAM. Had to find this on the forums, as it isn't included in the manual.
