It should work.  Dells are pretty proprietary especially with their power supplies.  This card does not need an additional 8-pin connector to run it.  Dells also use power supplies that barely support the original build.  So a higher power card may strain it.  The major issue is this is like dropping a turbo charged Chevy short block engine into an old Yugo.  The engine is great while the platform it's going into is old & slow.

Absolutely not. This card requires a 300 watt power supply, and the Dell Optiplex 7010 DT only has a 250 watt power supply. Of course, even if a GTX 1050 Ti only used one watt, it still wouldn't physically fit into the SFF (small form factor) case that the 7010 DT uses. It will only hold a low-profile card.

I would recommend the low-profile Asus GT 1030. It's fanless and has VDDR5, and all Asus cards come with great software, that is also easy to use. You'd probably be surprised at how often the tiny 40mm fans on most low-profile cards die an early death, leaving the card unusable, unless someone replaces the fan.
