yes it can be used with a micro ATX motherboard.  It will require a Computer case that can house a standard size power supply.  If the case you have is "micro" it may need a "micro" sized power supply.  Be sure when mounting the power supply, you leave the fan opening where it can move air.  Eg: if your case is a solid bottom or top where the supply will be mounted, you will need to have the fan opening inside of the case where if there is grill work where the fan opening is, you can mount either way.
