The RAM has to be compatible with both the motherboard and the CPU. The CPU can support a clock speed that the Motherboard, for whatever reason, does not.

Q: Can I play GTA 5 with mods smoothly?

Although i have never played GTA5 I would have to say yes to what your asking as I play World of Warcraft with around 35 add ons and it doesn't slow down one bit heck I've even been playing WoW with 3 browsers open and it didn't slow any i hope this answers youe question and helps you decide on getting this CPU

Sort of:  This CPU comes with AMD's Wraith Spire cooler, which has pre-applied thermal compound on the surface that will contact the top of the CPU when installed.  It's not as good as a name-brand thermal paste like Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut for example but it gets the job done for normal usage.

Yes i just got mine today put it in with stock cooler came with it and speccy is showing my cpu at 80celcius? anyone having this issues besides me or any info from amd why my cpu is at 80 stock temp just booting into windows 10?

Suggest you use the CPU temp data from the system initialization data.  Access this by a fresh start up and tap the DEL key or F2 key or ESCAPE key depending on your brand of motherboard.  This CPU was moved to the AMD business CPU section of the AMD desktop area under business CPUs.  A 65 W CPU usually will not heat up that much at all unless the owner pushes the settings from stock to a level that enhances the CPU speed and memory speed.  This CPU has enhanced broadband as a design feature which allows it to manage fast internet speeds and multiple programs active.

Does this CPU have a sticker on top that needs to be peeled off before securing the cooler on top? I've already installed mine but this step was pointed out to me and I realized I may not have done it. Temperatures are great, honestly. I'm just worried about damaging the CPU.

Yes sticker needs removed immediately with it on there your contact with thermal paste is nonexistent. Good chance of overheating. Remove it clean up all old thermal paste and put on some arctic five.

It will be compatible hardware wise. However, you will need to update the BIOS of the AM4 motherboard as it is a B350 motherboard. Once the BIOS of the motherboard is updated, then you can use the 2700 with the B350 motherboard.
