The Intel SSD 710 Series delivers leading performance for Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA)-based computers in three capacities: 100 GB, 200 GB, and 300 GB. By combining 25nm Intel NAND Flash Memory technology with SATA 3Gb/s interface support, the Intel SSD 710 Series delivers sequential read speeds of up to 270 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 210 MB/s.
The Intel SSD 710 Series also includes High Endurance Technology (HET), which combines NAND silicon enhancements and SSD NAND management techniques to extend the write endurance of an SSD, leading to lifetime endurance levels of up to 1.5 PB (3.0 PB with 20% over-provisioning) on the 300 GB SSD. The industry-standard 2.5-inch form factor enables interchangeability with existing hard disk drives (HDDs) and native SATA HDD drop-in replacement with the enhanced performance, reliability, ruggedness, and power savings offered by an SSD.
Boost your data center application performance and user productivity, increase data protection—even during power loss—all while reducing system downtime with the Intel Solid-State Drive 710 Series.
Delivered EnduranceIncorporating High Endurance Technology (HET), the Intel SSD 710 Series delivers single-level cell (SLC) SSD endurance in a multi-level cell (MLC) package. HET combines SSD NAND management technique and NAND silicon enhancements so the 300 gigabyte (GB) Intel SSD 710 Series achieves 4 kilobytes (KB) write endurance of up to 1.5 petabytes (PB) with 20 percent over-provisioning.
Enhanced PerformanceUnleash your I/O-starved applications! When configured with 20 percent over-provisioning, the 300GB Intel SSD 710 Series boosts performance—4KB random write values up to 2,400 input/output operations per second (IOPS) and 4KB random read values up to 38,500 IOPS. Now add low active power consumption of up to 3.7 watts, the Intel SSD 710 Series can also reduce your overall energy costs, making it an excellent value for system upgrades.
Increased ReliabilityThe Intel SSD 710 Series combines the several features to provide a reliable SSD. Advance Encryption Standard protects your data from external threats and internal system issues with 128-bit encryption. Using an array of surplus NAND flash, the Intel SSD 710 Series automatically reconfigures itself to reduce the prospect of data loss. Enhanced Power-Loss Data Protection saves all cached data in the process of being written before the Intel SSD 710 Series shuts down, which helps minimize potential data loss in the event of an unexpected system power loss. Temperature Monitoring and Logging contains an internal temperature sensor that can be monitored using two Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Report Technology (SMART) attributes.

Pros: Up to 3x the data cycles
Cons: SATA II, no speed benefits, or storage size benefits.
Overall Review: I'm not knocking intel, because their price is justified. Along with the new features, the eMLC and eSLC NAND chips are certified for 3x the data cycles. The average MLC NAND has a 10,000 cycle average. The eMLC NAND is certified (in some cases) for more than 30,000 cycles. That is your price justification
