These should work fine with the z270 chipset, but a better question would be to ask if it works with your specific motherboard.  To answer that, you should consult the memroy QVL for your specific motherboard which should be available from the manufacturer.

Does this work for an asus tuf pro-b450m pro-gaming & amd ryzen 3600??

Yes it will work. Ryzen 3000 series does a little better with higher speeds.Check for a kit with 3600cl16 if it's cheaper get that kit instead. It is like a 3-5% difference at best between 3200cl14 vs 3600cl16.

Question 3

Are these not optimal for a z390 board? I have an ASUS Prime Z390-A motherboard. I was going to buy these until I read it's for "Intel Z370 Platform".

the platform(DDR4), the speed, and the timings are that matter in actuality. if your board can handle the speeds, there is no problem with the DIMM slots accepting the RAM and the motherboard reading them. the only real problem I have ever faced with RAM-to-motherboard's qualified vendor listing is there being no available XMP profile to load with unlisted products. settings had to be input manually, which is no problem.
the info on this page states "Z370" because Z390 wasn't an option yet when these came out. they just haven't changed/updated the information.

What is the height of these sticks?

They don't seem any taller when installed than any other sticks with a heat sink. as far as the actual installed height in mm I would look to the G skill web site. Or their tech advise guys.
