does this come with clone software?

Mine came with just the SSD in the package. The package looked just like the one in their picture.

does this ssd require a driver? can I just plug it into my pc and it will be recognized?

Im assuming this drive will be your boot drive. The best way to install it is to unplug all other storage drivers from your computer then boot up using a usb with your OS on it. Then just install your OS on the drive. That's how I remember doing it.
