What size is this drive?

640 GB which is about 2/3 the size of a 1TB hard drive. Sorry to say but when I bought one of these I found it was like 3 years old already. Unused, but it is an OEM product that has a short term or no Western Digital warranty. This seller shows as covering it themselves, but I want WD to warranty any problems. The listing is not clear and links to WD. I complained and got a refund. I am not happy that WD has not fixed this listing with the seller. If it lasts it is a good deal but be aware you are at the mercy of this seller for warranty problems.

does this work on a 2008 mac pro 3,1 desktop ?

I think this will. But, I am not positive. IF the sys board has the connectors, it should.
