Will this fit a Toshiba Satellite P775?

Hello, Dmitry, I can't honestly tell you if it would, or not. I have mine installed in my HP Pavillion dv7 Notebook. I'm pretty sure the 7.0mm size, that is, the height of the drive, is the best bet if that dimension of fit is your concern. I can't even tell you anything about the performance because I got it to clone for a backup. I usually install such a drive in my secondary drive location and use Acronis True Image 11 (an older version of a brand of software I've used for a long time and trust) and leave it connected there to use only if my main (C) drive fails. I usually do connect it at least once and test it as the C drive to be sure it will work, if needed. I usually swap them and reclone the one most recently used. I hope this may help you to determine if this 2 1/2" drive might serve your purpose. I have always liked any Toshiba equipment I've owned and have never had any failures over the years.

Is this HD compatible with a MacBook Pro?

There should be no problem according to some article in Macworld. Hcl competibility. Unfortunately, I am unable to send the links. Just consult with or search on Macworld to get the answer.
