Pros: First Impressions: Let this be said first: this keyboard makes a statement on your desk. It is large, since it has both a numeric keypad and the macro keypad. It’s also visually striking; the aluminum plate on the top side is beautiful. The wrist rest (detachable) does a nice job of positioning my hands without tiring them, the texture is smooth and comfortable. There are 4 feet, two in front and two in the back, to adjust tilt in different ways, and Corsair opted for nice, large anti-skid pads under keyboard and wrist rest. Layout: The keyboard has a large number of functions, such as volume control, media player control, backlight control and of course macro key control. Corsair has found a good layout and grouping for the functions, and I felt at home rather quickly. The actual key layout is standard ANSI, and I like that Corsair stuck to it. The keys: This being a keyboard review, the keys deserve some attention. This is a rubber dome switch keyboard, so let’s get this out of the way first: mechanical keys are superior. However, there is a cost issue and it seems Corsair wants to make the high level of functionality available at a lower price point; they do have mechanical offerings for extra money. That said, the keys are decent for being rubber dome. The stem, which is the part that sits inside the key and reacts to the user pushing the key down by depressing the rubber dome and activating the switch, is a rather sturdy solution on those keys. Due to the construction, the keys do not wobble nearly as much as most other rubber domes I have tested. It’s a simple test, put your fingers on the keys without pushing the keys down, and wiggle with the hand. A lot of keyboards fail that test and provide too much play, making typing inaccurate and frustrating. The switches Corsair is using do not have that problem, and as a result typing is enjoyable on the K50. The key caps are on the smaller side, but I don’t find that to be bad at all. I have relatively large fingers and had no trouble at all touch typing. The larger keys (Shift, Enter, Space etc) have good stabilizers under them, so that if you press down on the edge of the large Shift key, for instance, it does not grind or get stuck. Lastly, the printing on the key caps is not a traditional print per se, the legends are clear plastic that goes through the entire cap, so that you can see the lighting through the key. The font looks good and clear, and I suppose there will be next to no wear down on the actual legends, another common concern on many other keyboards. The backlight is fun to play with. It works as advertised and I find it pleasing because I’m not tied to any particular color, the RGB adjustments are easy to work with and functional. The user gets to pick a different color for each profile of macro keys (M1/M2/M3), an instant visual indicator that the profile was switched. Cons: First impressions: The thick, braided USB cord is a little bit of an eyesore, and I wish there was an option to route that cable out the sides instead the back center. If anything, though, this cord is unlikely to break. The price seems a little steep for a rubber dome keyboard, but the very rich feature set together with the overall build quality of this keyboard really adds to the appeal and justifies the price to customers who value the macro key functionality. Functionality: No PS/2 converter is delivered with this keyboard. Corsair is straightforward about this and makes it clear this is a USB only keyboard. While it’s understandable that some old standards have to go some time, I feel it’s too early for PS/2 to go because on many motherboards, you can’t get into the BIOS with USB keyboards unless they are specifically supported. On my LGA1155 board, I can’t get into the BIOS at all, I need another keyboard to do so. It’s something to be aware of, especially if you have a slightly older system. I don’t know how prevalent this issue is on newer systems. Corsair’s suggestion to ask the motherboard manufacturer to include support for the K50 will mostly fall on deaf ears, I have tried similar things with various manufacturers and always got a polite rejection. The driver software is mostly self-explanatory. I do wish I could include mouse clicks in macros, or to at least see a statement making it clear what exactly can be or can’t be recorded in a macro. This quest for mouse clicks in macros had me a little frustrated.

Overall Review: This is the nicest rubber dome keyboard I have ever used. In particular the stable key stems and the usage of proper stabilizers on larger keys really elevate the typing experience. I would wager that a whole lot of people aren’t so concerned with rubber dome over mechanical keys unless they are professional writers, in which case they are unlikely to be looking towards high end macro keyboards for gamers to begin with. Up until now I have been using a Cherry MX brown mechanical and I prefer its keys, however, I’m in no way having a bad typing experience with the K50 and will stay with it for the time being; the macro functionality is very tempting to really get to know, and really, this keyboard just looks GOOD on my desk.

Pros: The keyboard is NOT mechanical, which I appreciate. The feel of each button press is solid and there is not a doubt that you are hitting them and making contact. The noise obviously is quieter than a mechanical keyboard which many people might enjoy. The piece itself is made out of aluminum and has a nice weight behind it. The buttons are plastic but there is definitely the feel of quality behind it. Underneath the chasis are four height adjusters. Two on top, and two on bottom giving you a few options as to how high up the keyboard sits. Above the 10 key on the right, the four buttons to control your music are great! You can pause, play, skip back a track, skip to the next track or even stop audio playback all together. Being able to do this in game without having to tab out and miss out on the action is fantastic. They all respond quickly and without a second glance your finger is back taking care of whatever you need to do in game! Above the four control buttons is a mute button and a volume roller. The mute button does just that, lowering the volume to zero and with a second press raises it back to whatever level you had it at previously. The volume roller lets you adjust the audio level quickly, handy if your speakers are elsewhere. The backlights on the keys themselves have three levels of brightness, as well as the option to have them off completely. Many keyboards these days only come with an on or off option, being able to control the level of brightness is a nice touch! The software to program the G Keys, and set the backlight colors is smooth. The program is easy to use and before you know it, you can have all 18 keys programmed. From complex macros to just adjusting where your hand sits on the keyboard during gaming sessions, you can, and will be using them more than the regular buttons - or at least I am! Being able to chain the abilities of my characters in an MMO makes it easier to control what I am doing and waste no time to make sure I am doing what the party needs me to do. The keyboard also has three profiles available, so if you share the computer with someone, you can each have your own preferences remembered, or switching between characters on the fly is easy as well! The profile is saved in the keyboards internal memory, so plugging it into a new computer won't hold you back. The backlight adjustment comes in a red/blue/green 0-255 slider. Not to mention there are eight preset options you can use. If neither of those options sounds appealing, there is a visual representation of colors available which you can click through on the left hand side of the screen. As you change the numbers, or color selection, the light changes immediately, giving you a look at what your lights will be. Something else I would like to mention is the height of the keys. They sit high above the board itself, making cleaning them easier. You can see the chasis below the keys and easily get a cotton swab or cloth, whateve

Cons: The software for the program does not come included in the package. You have to go to Corsair's website to download it manually. It was easy enough to find, but in 2013 is it really needed to go to the manufactors website for software? A CD/DVD included would have been nice. Once the software was installed, it needed to update the firmware of the keyboard which was to be expected. The progress bar moved quickly and the device was usuable before too long. The wristguard the keyboard comes with is detachable, a nice addition, but it feels too small for my liking and once the wristguard is on, I found myself adjusting the placement of the keyboard on my desk far too much. I have never been much for wristguards, which could play a factor in it, but I took it off about as quickly as I placed it on. One minor gripe, the profile buttons and the light on the button to adjust the backlight brightness are the same color, and not adjustable. They do not change to the color you select for your keys.

Overall Review: For the price of the unit you could buy certain mechanical keyboard, but I believe that would be a waste. This keyboard has a great tactical feel to it, looks cool, and after a bit of programming the G Keys become your best friend. This is my first venture into Corsair, after having been with Logitech since the days of Windows 98 SE, and I must say I am quite pleased with the quality and the keyboard overall. I would definitely give this item a thumbs up along with five out of five eggs.

Pros: I like the feel, I like the layout, and the program-ability is second to none. Once I plugged it into a 60 watt USB hub (Orico 7-port), my problems disappeared: No more hum when lit, and I can get into the BIOS at boot up.

Cons: I've been using this keyboard for about 8 months but always had another nearby . . . just to get into the BIOS when I needed to. By chance I bought a USB power hub (Orico 7-port) for other purposes but what the heck, tried it with the K50 as well. Had I known about the power problem from the beginning, I'd have hooked it up this way from day #1. I only dinged it 1-star this time as I was able to fix my problems. The K50 can earn 5-stars when they provide it with a separate power supply.

Overall Review: NOTE TO CORSAIR: I bet 90% of the problems we users have with this keyboard is that it sucks too much power. Standard USB 2.0 ports can reliably deliver about 500 ma @ 5V, USB 3.0 maybe 1000 ma. Your keyboard wants more than either can deliver.

Pros: Very clean look. I really like the squared off edges, the finish, and the fact that the front edge of the keyboard is straight, rather than having a bulge like other brands. This keyboard is quite heavy, which is a good thing, since it doesn't move around on your desk like the lighter ones do. I actually like that the keys have some texture to them, and that they are stiffer than most other keyboards I have used. I don't think I would call them spongy, but they do take a little more effort to operate that you might be used to. The fact that the bottom of the keys are raised above the deck of the keyboard is a really nice feature. Never again will you be trying to shake crumbs, dust, or anything else out of the keyboard. A quick burst from a canned air duster and anything that fell between the keys is gone. In addition to the extendable feet on the back of the keyboard, there are also feet on the front . I don't much care for the feel of it with these extended, but I'm sure someone out there will like it. The backlighting on this keyboard is much more even than on my old Logitech G110, although it could be quite a bit brighter. In a dark room, it is very nice, but it tends to get washed out by ambient light unless you select a high contrast color like light cyan or teal. Like most other gaming keyboards, this has a button to disable the Windows key. There is nothing worse than hitting the Windows key at a critical moment instead control and getting kicked out of your game only to find yourself dead when you get back. The configuration software is pretty easy to use, and is quite powerful. There is no documented limit to the size of a macro that you can assign to a G-key but I created one with 100 steps without issue. You can even name the function so you don't have to analyze the steps to remember what it does. There are a number of very handy "advanced" commands that you can add to macros like Show Desktop, Lock Computer, and Launch Program. You can set up different profiles which can be manually selected or linked to an application. There is no documented limit to the number of profiles you can create, but I created 50 without a problem. Within each profile, you can have 3 "memories" which you can switch between using the M1, M2 and M3 buttons. I found that this doesn't quite work as expected, though - see cons. Another really neat feature is the ability to save your configuration in hardware, which means that if you connect this keyboard to another computer, it works exactly the same way, even if it doesn't have the keyboard driver installed! Note that only 1 profile can be saved to hardware. Pros continued in Other comments....

Cons: On this keyboard, the F keys are shifted to the right, leaving a large space between F1 and ESC. Most games extensively use of the function keys, which means that you are going to have to relearn the position of the F-keys, or maybe adjust your in-game settings to shift them (your old F2 becomes F1, etc...). Looking at other gaming keyboards, it seems that most vendors are taking some creative liberties with the F-keys, so maybe I am just nit-picking. As you can see in the product image, the G-keys on the left are in a 3x6 matrix with no separation. It is going to take a good amount of practice to hit these keys correctly without looking at them. On other keyboards, these keys are grouped and have some separation between them to help you find them. I found the optional wrist rest to be very uncomfortable. It has a slippery feel to it that is just plain strange. It is also covered in tiny holes that are going to fill up with sweat and dust. Yuk. The installers for the driver and firmware updater are rather strange. Both warn "Make sure you are using firmware v1.0.4 or later!" but before you install these, you have no idea what version you are running. Since I had no choice but to ignore this warning, I installed the drivers, ran the configuration application and discovered that the firmware was 1.01. Despite the old firmware, everything seems to work fine, so I don't know what the deal was about the warning. The firmware also updated to 1.07 without issue, despite the same dire warning. I found it unusual that mouse-over tips were not included in the configuration application. I know it's a little thing, but it's so easy to add, why not just do it? The profile system has a couple bugs/shortcomings. Perhaps I am not using it right, but here are some oddities that I found: - When you link a profile to an application, the G-key macros are changed, but the backlight is left unchanged. I found that if I press a different M button after switching applications, the backlight will change to that memory's color, but it will never change automatically. - There is no "default" profile, so once you switch to an application that is linked to a profile, you will be stuck on that profile until you switch to another application that linked to a different profile or you open the configuration program and manually select a different profile. A workaround for this is to define a profile with what you want as defaults and assign it to the application C:\Windows\explorer.exe. Then simply clicking on the desktop reverts you profile back to your defaults. A much better approach would be for Corsair to add a default profile that is selected anytime an non-associated application is selected (Corsair, are you listening? This sounds like an easy fix). Do we really need the W-A-S-D and arrow keys to be a different color?

Overall Review: Ran out of room in Pros... This keyboard has a USB port on the back that is directly connected to a second USB plug so you can add a higher power device without worrying about overloading a single USB port on your computer or damaging the keyboard. The USB cables are covered in a very nice braided sheath. You can see how they did this in the product images. The volume roller and multimedia keys worked without any configuration at all. I would have relocated the keys to the top, though, since they seem a bit out of place tucked behind and almost under the numeric keypad. --- Other Comments --- Don't be mislead by the image in the Overview tab that shows the keyboard with multiple different color keys at the same time, they are only illustrating the variety of colors. The entire keyboard is the same color. It is strange that most of the previous negative reviews focused on how inflexible the USB cord is. While I agree it is rigid, it is well suited for a keyboard which doesn't typically move. Now on a mouse, it would really be bad, but for this, I think it is clean and effective. Overall, I am very impressed with the build quality of this keyboard. As a gamer myself, I can see that the shifted F-keys are going to be the hardest thing for me to adjust to since there is now a blank space where the F1 key was on my Logitech G110. I may end up just remapping the keys rather than trying to relearn their locations, we'll see how it goes. Given the flexibility of the G-key programming, this keyboard is certainly not limited to gamers. I could totally see myself using this at work, where I type all day, just because of its build quality and feel. Corsair, please fix the backlight color switching glitch, and add a default profile!

Pros: The RGB LED backlighting enables you to choose from a handful of preset key backlighting, or create your own custom color. Along with the nearly unlimited color choices you get the ability to choose three different brightness settings, or completely turn the backlighting off. The ability to disable the windows key with the simple press of a button on top of the keyboard is actually really nice. I really like how the keys stick out from the keyboard base, and aren't molded in like most keyboards are. This makes it very easy to dust out and clean. The rubberized keys feel pretty cool, didn't think I would like them but they feel pretty nice. The media keys work right out of the box, and I really like the slider volume adjustment. The secondary USB passthrough cable to hook up a mouse is awesome, and works perfectly with Corsair's Raptor mice (I have a M40 plugged into it), although you could use it for other things such as a wireless gamepad or flash drive since it's USB passthrough (I didn't net any speed loss using a flash drive compared to being plugged directly into my PC). I haven't found a real good use for the 18 programmable keys yet, but they're fun to play with and can be quite handy. I really like the ability to change profiles with a press of a button, and how it's stored on the firmware of the keyboard itself as opposed to *needing* the software installed on a PC. And besides, this keyboard just looks awesome, period.

Cons: Although the backlighting is pretty cool, it needs to be about twice the brightness and more evenly lit. Certain colors make some keys hard to read since the lighting is somewhat uneven. The keys themselves would greatly benefit from having diffusers added to the underside to spread the backlight evenly. One slight annoyance I have is there's no hotkey for the calculator, which I find that I use a whole lot more than I realize, but I was able to fix this by programming one of the G-keys to open up the calculator for me. The keyboard feet could be a little higher on the back, but it's not too big of an issue. The feel of the keyboard isn't something that I'm use to. I've typed on a variety of laptop and desktop keyboards over my years of working on computers, and never have quite used one that feels like this. I think "spongy" is the best way to describe it. It takes some real getting used to, which I haven't gotten down yet. The faster I type on it the more mistakes I find myself making. I dinged one star due to the strange feel of the key presses and because the backlighting on the keyboard although very cool, is too dim for daytime usage.

Overall Review: I tested this keyboard out both at home gaming, and then I brought it to work to use in a business environment. This obviously isn't a keyboard marketed towards a business environment, but being an IT geek I like to bring my toys to work with me and maybe do some fragging on my lunch hour. With the bright white fluorescent lighting, the backlighting on the keyboard is absolutely horrid. I ended up choosing purple because it was oddly enough the color with the most clarity. I have the same problem when I'm home since my gaming rig is in my computer room that also uses fluorescent lights, but when I turn them off and game in the dark, that's when this keyboard really shines! (see what I did there?) When it comes down to it, this is a GAMING keyboard that's meant for GAMING and not word processing or heavy typing without some serious getting used to.

Pros: First thing is everything on this keyboard just works. You don't have to do anything to get the media controls working. The next thing about this keyboard is just how nice it is to type on. If you make a lot of mistakes when typing chances are the keyboard is more to blame than you are. With this Corsair K50 there are no missed keypresses. There are no mistypes; writing this entire review I haven't made a single mistake. The keyboard has picked up every single keypress perfectly. No missed capitol letters, no missed periods or anything. It's simply fantastic. If you've ever wondered if your typing mistakes were you or the keyboard I strongly recommend picking up this keyboard to find out. Even if the mistakes are you after typing on this, since you'll actually be getting proper input feedback based on the feel of the keyboard itself (which you really just have to experience to understand), you'll notice your typing competency fly through the roof. The software is functional and the firmware updater couldn't be any easier to use. It's fast and simple, perfect design. More on the configuration software later. The keys on the keyboard have a fantastic soft touch to them. It's slight, and doesn't feel like just a cheap coating. I don't know if the entire key is made out of this type of plastic, I doubt it, but it doesn't feel like it will wear off easily. Everything about this keyboard feels well made; it's really impressive. I expect this will last for a long time under any use scenario. The backlighting is cool, helps more than you'd think at night, even with the room lit. You can change the backlight color to anything you desire. They keys are vibrant and easy to read. It has a built in USB port which is really nice for plugging in a headset. A lot of the time the actual computer is far away from where you sit so this is a nice option to have. Please note however, that you don't want to plug the mouse into this USB port as that would considerably increase the input latency of that mouse. The keyboard also comes with a very nice, soft touch, palm rest. This is a rubber coating that is very breathable and just snaps into place in the keyboard. The soft touch rubber sits on top of a firm and supportive plastic frame; unlike some other palm rests that have flimsy plastic frames that make using them awkward at best. As mentioned the keyboard has a USB port in it. This means that there are two USB cables running through the keyboards cable. This cable has the newer rope like coating, instead of the cheap rubber coating of low end hardware. As some have noted, this cable is also rather firm; this is by design and serves two purposes. Cons: Price, when it's not on sale, is too high; currently it's perfect. Compared to Logitech's setpoint software Corsairs feels barren, it is functional however and allows you to do everything you need to or could ever want to. There are no more cons, so I'll use this space to put more pros. (continued) First, it makes it very easy to run the cable in any computer setup in such a way that it's out of sight and conforms to any curves or bends you need when routing the cable. This is achieved by simply bending, and holding for about 10 seconds, the cable in whatever position you desire. After holding it in that position for a few seconds the cable will be "set" and stay that way. Secondly, should you desire a loser feel to the cable all you need do is bend a specific portion of the cable back and forth for about 10 seconds and it will loosen up. This second use scenario seems a lot less likely on a keyboard since typically they just sit on your desk and never move; but since some have already complained I guess it was good that corsair thought to include this functionality. Finally the keyboard has some metal trim along the top to complete the overall high quality feel that the entire thing has. With the four, yes four, extendable feet on the bottom you can adjust the height and angle however you see fit. This keyboard is quiet as well. You hear the keypresses but it's not obnoxious and sounds as smooth as using the keyboard feels. Every key on this keyboard can be programmed. If you don't like the position of the "ctrl" button simply choose another key to store that command. The downloadable user guide is very well organized and easy to use. Anything you don't already know how to do, that this keyboard can do, this guide will teach you.

Overall Review: Other reviewers have said that the USB cable isn't magnetically shielded then in the same sentence inform us they use a KVM. I assure you that this keyboards cable IS magnetically shielded from electrical interference. The downloadable documentation that comes with the Corsair software is fantastic. Makes recording and assigning macros as easy as it could ever be. The media keys are set considerably lower than the rest of the keys so you don't accidentally hit them. But they're in a location that is still easy to access; just not so easy you can do it on accident. All in all this the single best keyboard I've ever used. Now, to be fair I've never used a mechanical keyboard. I've read that some people prefer mechanical switches to the rubber dome used in this keyboard, but given that keypress detection on this Corsair K50 is literally perfect I can't imagine needing anything else. I certainly can't imagine being willing to pay an extra 100 dollars for one. Doing these reviews and writing code and just chatting with people has become an infinitely better experience. Now the only problem is I'm never gonna be able to use a "normal" keyboard again; haha.

Pros: I really like the overall feel of this input device. It's very responsive. And due to the very good looking and practical brushed aluminum top It's very solid with no flex in the keyboard and hence no creaky noises like in some rather more expensive boards. The keys do make some noise but not excessively and I also really appreciate the nice touch to the direction keys "W" "A" "S" "D" and arrow keys which are a different color...silver and it makes them easy to find. Also the rubberized palm rest is actually comfortable and manages to stay attached. As for stability there are four flip feet and four rubberized pads (seven if you use the palm rest for comfort adjustment. Very nice. The volume and mute controls in the upper right are convenient and easy to deal with as are the stop, fast forward, etc, media keys. The color coded Maroon USB plug makes it easy to differentiate between the jumble of USB keys that are typically all black and the thick braided USB cord implies good quality and durability. No problems with the USB pass-through...works like a charm. Works in the BIOS as well, no problem entering.

Cons: It's quite large...20" across but then again it is a gaming keyboard so this is understandable to some degree Control lights for macro recording, profile selection and light dimming at top of board are white lights and this I do not understand at all. With all the color customization, which is very nice indeed, why have thees little annoying white lights that don't coordinate with your color preference? It's minor but I'm taking half a star. The Corsair software still has a way to go but they do seem to be updating both software and firmware. Macro recording has built in noticeable delays and it's a bear to get rid of them. The process itself is not easy or intuitive...dare I say a bit kludged. The saving grace is that once in I seldom need to change them. Taking half a star.

Overall Review: I really like this keyboard and once the G-Key macro issues are sorted it's a lovely board. In fact it has replaced the gamming board from another manufacturer that I have been using. Pros: First I am an Newegg Eggspert Reviewer.- I also built my first computer in 1977 and told Stephen Jobs his Apple 1 kit was too expensive. I did not make a friend then, nor now. I am a Senior Field Engineer for an unnamed computer company today. ---Review- Fancy back lighting. Thousands of colors to choose from. It has 18 programmable keys that call G keys and 3 M key shich allow you to select banks of G keys. The bank keys can make the keyboard change color so you know what bank you are on. The big advantage I see is to use it for repeated logging in and passwords to sites you go to all the time. The HR department could program a "YOU'RE FIRED" key and use it repeatedly (a joke son) I refer to other reviewers. I hope you read all the reviews.\ There is a speaker mute button on the keyboard and 4 media keys. There is a speaker volume roller. More about that further down. There is a extra USB connector on the end of the cable for an USB pass through connector on the back of the keyboard. I set my keyboard up so the backlight of the keys would change color like a Christmas tree with a color wheel. I'm sure that impresses everyone in the basement of the science building.

Cons: The lettering on the keys is smaller than my IBM Model KB-9910 keyboard which I like a lot. Only documentation with te keyboard refers to downloading all software, firmware and documentation from the web site. That was done. Spent an hour trying to find out why the speaker volume roller would not work. After exhausting all remedies found on line (NONE) I went to email my problem to tech support as it was the weekend and I work during the week. A reply email was what I was hoping for. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO COMPLETE THE EMAIL FORM AS THEY REQUIRED YOU TO SELECT THE MODEL NUMBER FROM A PULL DOWN SELECTION CH-900007-NA WAS NOT AN OPTION. .I finally selected another keyboard and explicitly stated I had a K50 and needed to know how to verify the Speaker Volume roller was working or if my keyboard was defective... That was the weekend. It is now Thursday morning and all I have received is a email receipt. So much for Tech support. The keyboard is BIG- 20 inches long. The cable is also BIG-- it is the diameter of a pencil and not flexible at all. It has 2 USB connectors. There are utilities that allow you to make hot keys on a regular keyboard and you all ready have one of those. This is a hardware version.

Overall Review: Keyboard Feel - I didn't like it. When typing I found I'd kick in to CAPSLOCK a lot after hitting the A key... Humm.. I am now typing back on my IBM and I have not kicked into CAPSLOCK at all..Keyboard is relative but 1 EGG off...I didn't like the feel or having to play with CAPSLOCK. The software for programming keys was lame. It has shortcuts for commands such as PRINT CUT COPY PASTE that you can make the programmable keys. Well that's lame- PRINT- CTRL P. CUT-CTRL X. COPY- CTRL C and PASTE CTRL V... That as simple as a capital A- SHIFT A. So who is going to program them? Plus every keyboard responds to them... DUH!!!! Then there is the lack of my ability to determine the speaker volume wheel not working. I have not received a response via email. Had I actually bought it I'd be returning it by now. I tested their web site support. Fount in impossible to make a correct entry using my keyboard model and as of 4-5 days later no response. In my world of providing solutions, that is a failure. 2 eggs OFF. I don't know if it's broken or not; or plain doesn't wotk with my ASUS mobo and 8core AMD.. This is not a $10 no name keyboard. Actually I have never had trouble with one of those. This keyboard I spent 2-3 hours trying to make it work or find out why the speaker roller does not. No answers from my email. I'm not about to hang on a phone listening to elevator music by calling. Email works for me. Just like this review. Emailed in. It's 3 eggs off.... I really, really have to like something to give 5 eggs. I doubt that I would of bought it as it does more than a normal keyboard.. BUT- my experience is now forever tainted.
