Couple questions, is this a brand new cell phone?  After reading the review questions this cell phone will work with any carrier.  My plan is to buy this cell phone and go with consumer cellular data/voice plan.  Will this phone work as I would like it to w/Consumer Cellular?

- Yes it is a brand new cell phone
- It will work with any GSM band carrier, worldwide, I have used my phone here in the USA, Africa, Europe and Asia.
- Consumer Cellular, per wiki and their website, basically resells AT&T, AT&T is a GSM network, so yes definitely this phone will work with Consumer Cellular
- When you do get it, put in the chip and restart it a couple of times, you may have to pull out the battery. This will help the phone recognize the network to which the SIM chip is assigned. 
- The only issue you may have is setting what is known as the APN. If you get the phone and find that it is doing calls but cannot pass data, then call Consumer Cellular and have them walk you thru setting the APN to their network, it should not be too difficult.

Yes, it will. I shuttle between the US and Nigeria. I have used it in the US on T-mobile, Simple Mobile, At&T and in Nigeria on GLO, MTN and Etisalat.

Yes. Any provider that requires a Sim card, this phone will work. Probably not at 3g, but will get t-mobile service.
