The Ring Battery Doorbell 4K Pro (2nd Gen) is Ring's most advanced battery-powered doorbell, completely redesigned with 4K video clarity and Ring's most advanced security features in a cord-free, renter-friendly package. It replaces the previous Battery Doorbell Pro under a refreshed name, with Ring confirming the underlying features are unchanged between the two names. Video is captured at Retinal 4K resolution with up to 10x Enhanced Zoom, letting you zoom in on fine details with sharp definition in any light. A True View lens delivers a 140-degree horizontal and 140-degree vertical field of view for Head-to-Toe HDR video, so full-body visitors, packages, and porch activity all stay in frame. Low-Light Sight with Adaptive Night Vision provides true-color detail at dusk and automatically shifts to crisp black-and-white in near-total darkness, keeping your doorstep visible around the clock. Motion sensing uses Ring's radar-powered 3D Motion Detection, which pinpoints both motion and distance for accurate person, package, and vehicle detection with fewer false alerts; customizable motion zones let you flag activity in a driveway while ignoring passersby on the sidewalk. Live View and Two-Way Talk with Audio+ let you see, hear, and speak clearly with visitors in real time through the free Ring app, and Quick Replies can leave a preset message when you're not available to answer. Power comes from a removable Quick Release Ultra Battery Pack that recharges over USB-C and snaps back into place without taking the whole doorbell off the wall; it's backward compatible with Quick Release Battery Packs from earlier Ring doorbells. The doorbell can also be hardwired to an existing 8 to 24VAC, 40VA max doorbell transformer if you prefer constant power, and it supports existing mechanical chimes when wired in, in addition to digital chime options through Ring speakers or mobile devices. Connectivity runs over dual-band WiFi 6 (802.11ax, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), with a minimum upload speed of 15Mbps recommended for smooth 4K streaming.
