1. Does this fit the Samsung 46 smart tv?
2. I am understanding that this extends and swings? Correct?

Yes, it extends out from the wall about 12 inches allowing it to articulate.

The full range of articulation would be dependent on the size of your TV.  I get over a 100 degrees of swing.  It also tilts but once you set the tilt the tilt adjustment is cinched in tights by a screw/bolt.

My TV is 42 inches but this mount will fit up to a 70 inch TV.

I mounted this without assistance, however, an extra person would be handy during the adjustments/leveling process.

Question 2

I shows the upper limit of 60" TV, is this due to weight or size of mounting holes? I'm looking at a 75" TV this is well below the weight limit.

This is a very heavy duty mount. It is overkill for my 65" TV, you should be fine with a 75" TV if it is below the weight limit. Just make sure the mounting screws are firmly attached. The weight is magnified when the TV is extended.

Question 3

Hello! I'm looking for a full motion TV wall mount with a tilt for my LG model # 49LB5500 TV. I had ordered one but discovered that where it mounts to the TV blocked my cable, IVR, USB connections and it had to be returned.
Looking at the picture of yours it seems to be similar in design although like my previous one it did say it works for LG TV's. 
Can you provide me any more information and confirm that it will work?

Hi,

This is a great wallmount and I like it best because of the load it will support (I have a 65" Panasonic on it) and the fact that it really extends quite a way from the wall and will tilt every which way. You just have too make sure you secure it to the 2x4's in the wall as there is no sheetrock that will support it when extended.

I have it in a large family room and at times half the people want to visit while the kids want to watch TV and I wired the sound so that it can play on either side of the room or both at the same time.

Whether it will block your connections in the wall, Unless it happens that the horizontal brackets make it unavoidable, I can't say. It depends on the width of the wall and whether you have two studs that you can secure the bracket without covering the area where your cables come through.

I own my home so I put the bracket exactly where I wanted it and had to cut a section of the wall to place a 2x4 where it needed to be an while there I installed a service box where I have 3 HDMI female sockets, two CAT six modular sockets and a dedicated power source with six outlets and built-in surge protection.

However, if you have limitation as to what you can and can't do, I would only make sure that where you want to install it, you will have two 2x4's apar no more than the brackets will allow for adjustment, which is not much. You could drill holes on the mounting plate and move the scissor brackets further apart (Definitely not closed together) but that may cause some issues with the VESA mount orientation of the present holes.

I think only you can make that determination.

Will this mount fit a 400x300 Vesa tv?

Josha, if your TV does in fact have mounting holes that meet VESA standards and you don't exceed the weight limitations or fail to secure it to 2x4's, it works great. I purchased an 80" Sony panel that supposedly met VESA standards, and it did not. I had to modify and drill holes so that they would make  the wall-mount useable. What should have been a one hour job at the most, took me a weekend. Because the classic VESA standard was the only one for wall-mounting monitors, I've seen Websites throw that statement around as if it was a given. That is no longer the case and I would make sure that your panel does indeed meet the standard; or as other manufacturers have done (Not Sony, of course), they supply an adaptor plate that bolts to the pattern of your panel and converts it into a VESA mount. Just be prudent and do your homework. And go to the manufacturer, not the vendor. Most don't even know what VESA even means and will tell you what you want to hear. Otherwise, this wall-mount is excellent; very solid and quality built. It also will support up to 175 lbs which gives an idea of how robust it is. Hence, be sure you mount it into a stud as using wall-anchors, if your panel weighs much, it will pull the sheetrock off. As the matter of  fact, the mount itself weighs quite a bit and it might pull a wall-anchor by itself if extended. I hope this helps.
