All right other than the AI answer here lol... The answer is yes the card technically bypasses the CPU and they communicate directly with one another according to the literature. But you're not going to have anything on this card like NV Link like what Nvidia has for their server grade cards. So if you're running for cards your tensor parallelism is only gonna be as good as your PCI slots. However if you're running normal inference between two cards they're pretty well optimized for that.

So it's going to be completely dependent on your workload, if you're say an architect that is running Revit this card should be fantastic for you especially if you have large projects. If you're doing Photoshop or something like that It should still work really well. Basically from what I can gather this card is essentially a 4070 slapped 30 two gigabytes of VRAM pretty much. So the hardware's there it's the software that needs to be addressed Period now if you're trying to use it as an AI workstation that is a whole different animal. It is a decent card but you will go through blood sweat and tears to get it running at the optimized speed and the kernel rollouts from Intel are fairly slow at the moment.
