The PSC Press Bridge boasts two low-noise microphone pre-amplifiers specifically designed for dynamic microphones, ensuring crystal-clear audio capture. Additionally, it features a line-level input, perfect for transmitting house program audio or other line-level feeds.

Each of these three dedicated inputs comes with an independent level control, allowing the Press Bridge to operate without the need for an additional audio mixer. This professional audio distribution system offers two types of outputs. It provides 12 transformer-isolated, balanced microphone level feeds, ideal for sending isolated audio to various news crews or recording devices. Furthermore, it includes three balanced, line-level feeds designed to connect with one or more PSC Press Trains. A standout feature of the PSC Press Bridge is its capacity to add "satellite-style" output modules, each with 12 additional outputs, up to a total of 300 outputs.

This flexibility allows for the creation of a large-scale audio distribution system capable of serving up to 300 press crews. The Press Bridge can power up to 24 remotely located Press Train modules via standard microphone cables, eliminating the need for multiple long cable runs. This system is easily powered for over 8 hours with four 9-volt batteries or a 12Vdc adapter. For user convenience, the PSC Press Bridge includes a built-in peak reading LED bar-graph meter and an internal reference tone oscillator for level setting. A two-color power indicating LED also provides a clear indication of battery condition.
