A: We are afraid Reolink VD81 doorbell cameras will only work with a Reolink chime. One doorbell camera supports a maximum of one Reolink chime.
Q2: What to do when added to a Reolink NVR, it shows a black screen on the monitor Ul?
A: If your NVR has Hw H3MB18/N2MB02/N3MB01, please first upgrade the NVR to the latest firmware version. Please scan the QR code of the NVR to check the Doorbell camera. Please note that a third-party NVR is NOT supported.
Q3: How to power up the VD81 Doorbell camera?
A: Reolink VD81 Doorbell supports 12-24V AC 50/60Hz. 24V DC power, lEEE802.3af PoE switch/injector, or Reolink PoE NVRs. The power supply is NOT included in the package.
The doorbell VD81 can alert you only when a person is detected, ignoring trivial non-human passers-by. You can also set a motion zone to black out areas prone to unnecessary alarms.
