The 10-step error prevention feature prevents irregular non-walking movements from being falsely counted as steps. The sensor will start or resume counting steps after taking 10 consecutive steps. As long as walking continues, all steps taken before it begins or resumes counting will be added .
In the following conditions, the pedometer may not be correct:
- carrying loosely,
- stationary exercises,
- holding in hand,
- using with a walking aid,
- taking slow or light steps
- riding on transport such as buses, trains& cars.
