does this mount fit 16' and 24' inch studs???

The way the bracket is designed there should be no problem with 16 or 24 inch studs (or almost any width in between). If you need a shallow mount bracket, this one is great. If your studs are off center of where you want to place the TV,  you can slide it left or right.  The only concern I could foresee is there is no vertical	ilt adjustment.

Question 2

Can this product accommodate a 400x400mm Vesa pattern for a 55" Samsung? Only 200x200 was mentioned.

According to the specifications we have received for this product, this wall mount supports up to a 800x400mm VESA mounting pattern.
