what power supply would be recommended for this specific case? im looking for a 1000w psu or possibly larger

your want a completely modular power supply. I like Thermaltake personally but that is a preference not a necessity.  The wattage is completely dependant on what you have for hardware though. If you are unsure there are calculators online that will tell you what you need for what you have and then just go up a size to allow for upgrades. Atleast that is what I normally do anyway.

Question 2

Does this case come with the pump bracket or do you have to buy it extra?

It does. On a side note since your water cooling  make sure your resivior isn't too big because there isn't much space for it. I was barely able to get my zspc photon res in there with some modification.

Question 3

Can the window side be mounted on either side, or is it specifically for the left side of the case?

Left side only... but then again, i have no information regarding your welding and mechanical skills... plus if the window was mounted on the right side, it would only show the back of the large metal plate motherboard mount and cable routing Velcro ties etc... very unappealing to look at, but again, if you're mechanically handy then maybe you could customize your case...

Question 4

How much space is it from the top fan/rad mounts to the top of a motherboard?
I mainly need to know if there is there enough room for a 280mm rad and fans measuring a total of 51mm thick

This space above the MoBo mount area and the top filter is actually separated by a mounting plate,  I would refer you to the Phanteks website for more detailed information.  There is approximately 27mm clearance both above and below the aforementioned mounting plate (up to 420mm length).  This estimated distance not only leaves clearance for the MoBo but also leaves the cable management pass-throughs above the MoBo still open to be used as well.  Hope this helps you out.

Description says 3 external 5.25 drive bays, picture looks to show 4... How many does this actually have?

There are 3  5.25 drive bays. The top panel is the cover for the lighting controls, usbs and mic/headphone jack

Really want to buy this case! will it fit a Corsair Hydro Series H110i Extreme on the top?

Yes it will fit. I have this case and the Corsair Hydro Series H115i Extreme on the top. The fans fit under the top grille and the radiator fit nicely under the fan bracket.

Yes, it fits the case just fine! I actually purchased the same case & Kraken X62 myself and the top fits up to a 420mm Radiator. the X62 will fit in just fine no worries!

How is the RGB lighting? How do you control the lighting (does the case come with software)?

Its merely ok, there is a single button in the front with the USB ports that control the lighting, tap it once to turn it on, tap it to change color, press and hold for like 3 seconds to change lighting styles, press and hold for like 10 seconds to turn off the lighting. you can get an adapter cable to connect it to motherboard RGB setups and control it from the motherboard software, there are a couple of different cables depending on the motherboard manufacture.

Is the side of this aluminum or steel? (non glass side of course--)..or is it just the faceplate that is aluminum???

It's steel, only the front and top are brushed aluminum.  The rest of the case is just black painted steel. The steel makes it very heavy though. With when my system was fully assembled it was 50 pounds.

Does anyone know which fan this case has installed in them so I can get 2 more of the same?

it has several mounting spots, top, bottom, front, rear and the HDD cages. it comes with two 140mm one top one rear, and one 200mm mounted in front.it can support 120mm, 140mm and 200mm fans. Check out their manual online for specifics on how many and where (page 22). Just google "phanteks, PH-ES614L_Western, PDF" and it will come up.
