Pros: Easy point and shoot. Fun to use to see what temperature the dog and cat are. Kids will shoot you in the face with this so watch out for the laser. Useful to detect bearing wear on motors and drive shafts as well as heat loss areas in the house. You can use this to measure

Cons: Not as accurate as hoped. Shooting objects inside the refrigerator gives different temp readings based on their colors. Nevertheless this is a useful tool to have.

Overall Review: I have used far more expensive units that gave more consistent readings however if you use the same gun and shoot the same objects you can get comparitive data. These should not be relied upon for critical temperature measurements but for general use the price can't be beat.

Pros: USB plug in. Works for a while. Maybe these are too cheap?

Cons: Died after 8 months of light usage. No blinking, no reading.

Overall Review: One of the few disapointments that I have ever gotten from New Egg. This is used transfer program data to a CNC machine and the failure shut us down for a while. I bought a Nippon replacement (based on good reviews) and will have a spare drive available from now on.

Pros: Easy to use and handle. Picture quality is far better than I had expected at this price point. Auto funtions allow close-ups with the best image quality that I have ever seen in an entry level camera.

Cons: Not sure that are any cons that you wouldn't find in any $100.00 range camera. Our folks are great at complaining and nobody's whined about it in more than 6 months.

Overall Review: Purchased for our X-ray department to do photos of setups. It's such a nice camera that other folks are borrowing it and using it all over our plant. Based on the popularity we will be buying at least 2 more. This would be a great gift for anyone that uses a point and shoot.

Pros: Nice case. Great flexibility and slide-in trays for HD and DVD.The slide in trays speed up the build and this last one was only about an hour. No wicked sharp edges to slice you up. Large fan with 3-speed switch. Power supply is nice and stable with plenty of connectors. The whole thing is pretty quiet. I like the locking door on the side that keeps prying fingers out of the unit after it's up and running.

Cons: Almost all cases that I get are dented somewhere. The Antec cases (my 2nd one) are very well packaged and the carton wasn't damaged. This means that this went in the carton with a ding in the top. Seems to me that the Chinese are struggling with the concept of quality control. Is this part of why they can make things cheaper than the rest of the manufacturing world??

Overall Review: This is a new build for our shop but if I were buying this for myself I would be upset about the dent on the top in the front. This looks to have happened before it was painted. I would give 5 eggs if not for the dent. I am now standardizing the builds for our company and I will be using this case from now on. They aren't the cheapest out there but when you figure you get a good quality power supply with the case the price makes more sense. I watch for these on sale now.

Pros: No dead pixels. Good styling and easy to adjust to your taste. This is a great buy at the $100.00 point. These are a good deal and you don't have any rebates to contend with. Take a look at the ratings on the other monitor brands that use rebates and count how many folks don't ever get theirs.

Cons: No HDMI input so it's not the highest resolution Acer flat panel that you can get but overall it's an excellent buy.

Overall Review: For office computing this is an excellent choice. This is the 6th Acer monitor that I have purchased in the past 2 years and all of the users are very happy with them. I have never had any dead pixels and nobody ever complains about their monitors. New Egg pricing and service is excellent as always.

Pros: Pretty reliable and widely used in office settings. The lowest price for an XP operating system.

Cons: I heard it said that XP is the kindergarten for hackers. That may be true but I have never had any issues to date on any of my systems.

Overall Review: Cheaper than XP pro with as many features as you need for small office work.
