LOGITECH G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse #910-004074
LOGITECH G502 Proteus Core Tunable Gaming Mouse #910-004074

Pros: The G502 is a beautiful mouse that performs like a champ. The G502 is by far the best mouse I have ever owned. I have a fairly medium sized hand and use claw grip and this mouse fits like a glove.

Cons: This isn't a true Con, but the light blue accents on the mouse don't really go with the red/black color scheme of my computer. It would have been nice to see Logitech address the appearance customization by either having controllable LED's or different models with various colors. Again, this is more personal taste than a Con, but it's something that many other mice at this price range start offering...

Overall Review: While some mice are tailored to one end of the market or another, Logitech took more of a jack of all trades approach with the G502 and pullled it off. This mouse is an average size, with an average number of buttons, an average degree of customization, and a slightly above average price. The final result is one of the best mice on the market. Both in terms of performance and appearance. It might be a bit short on function when compared to high-end mmo mice, and it can have too much function for a casual pc user, but for the middle-ground user that is looking for a quality gaming mouse that offers that extra layer of function, without looking like a jumbled pile of mouse buttons, the G502 cannot be beat.

Most Critical Review

Nice case; Poor quality management

Corsair Obsidian Series 750D CC-9011035-WW Black Brushed Aluminum and Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Corsair Obsidian Series 750D CC-9011035-WW Black Brushed Aluminum and Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Beautiful, sturdy feeling case with tons of space.

Cons: As several other reviews on here have stated, Corsair's quality management is lacking. When I pulled this case out of the box I heard small chips of plastic floating around inside of it. Sure enough one of the two tabs that hold the front panel on was broken and the window had several small cracks where it meets the metal panel.

Overall Review: I'm currently trying to obtain some replacement parts for the case, but I'm not far from just returning it. When you spend this much money on a case you expect a certain level of build quality. The rest of the case is amazing, but the numerous issues people have been having with the front panel mechanism and the window keep this from being a truely great case. If Corsair's customer service pulls through with some replacement parts I'll change my tune and add an egg or two, but for the time being I am majorly underwhelmed.

Great monitor, so-so stand

ASUS VN248H-P 24" (Actual size 23.8") Full HD 1920 x 1080 VGA, 2x HDMI MHL Compatible Built-in Speakers Super Narrow Frame Design LED Backlit IPS Monitor
ASUS VN248H-P 24" (Actual size 23.8") Full HD 1920 x 1080 VGA, 2x HDMI MHL Compatible Built-in Speakers Super Narrow Frame Design LED Backlit IPS Monitor

Pros: Beautiful display, sleek thin bezel, and lots of space. After a year of use its still performing without any problems.

Cons: To get the best picture from this monitor you will need to calibrate it, which should only take a few minutes. So its not quite ready to go right out of the box. As many people have stated, the stand that comes with this monitor isn't the best. If I bump into my desk there is a noticeable wobble in the monitor. The stand doesn't seem overly flimsy, i trust it to hold the monitor and last, however I will invest in an aftermarket stand once I buy another one of these. The stand was the only reason i took an egg off.

Overall Review: I really enjoy this monitor and am planning on buying another once it comes on sale again. One common gripe I don't agree with is the placement of the buttons. Many reviewers have complained that this placement makes it hard to find the buttons. Personally I have never had any problem with this. After the first few uses I quickly learned where the power button was and I got used to the placement. Besides, how often are you really playing around with your monitor settings after initial setup?
